i am getting the same feeling. Sam Darnold seems to be coming off that 2 or 3 game high, my confidence in him has dwindled. i dont think he can keep up if it becomes a shootout.
we need a HUGE game from our pass rushers. we need to get to Goff WITHOUT the blitz.
Darnold had a bad game his last outing against the Jets. I honestly don’t know what we’ll get from him Sunday. If it’s another outing like that, our chances of winning are slim. If he returns to the quality of play we witnessed in his first four appearances, we have a chance, but I still think we lose.

Hutch was responsible for 7 of Detroit’s 15 sacks. They literally lost half of their pass rush effectiveness.
Unfortunately we didn’t play defense on two of the losses and I believe the third we tried stupid things like Cook playing Michael Jordan with a jump pass.

There were a couple girls from Norway at my college who found out me and my buddy had a metal radio show. Cam Akers already knows the scheme and can block, better than Chandler at least and for basically the cost of nothing, its good depth. For a fun meme worthy play from last season I highly recommend his block he threw on a LB/DE in the (only watchable game from 2023) Dobbs Atlanta game. De cleats him then points at him as he walks away. Good stuff.
Obviously a big game Sunday against the Lions at home. The Lions are looking formidable after putting up 89 points in their last two games, and curb stomping the Cowboys in Dallas 47-9.
