I have not seen this mentioned.
The Poopeaters have fired their OC since he could not make Hurts good enough this year.

Interesting way of putting it. Sean McCoy said Hurts isn’t capable of running a complex NFL offense. I’ve posted some stuff trying to show how an NFL QB has to see a lot and process a lot in a few tenths of a second and then be able to accurately deliver the ball. There are many plays where that processing can be significantly reduced, but it cuts about 2/3 of the passing offense out of the playbook.

But it’s their culture so it’s ok.

We had a ‘Nigerian’ at the prison that used that line about yelling at people.
‘My culture is to raise our voices so it is ok for us to do it, but it is not ok for you because that equals ‘yelling’ at someone.

So much BS.

This seems crazy.
Were not Tomlin and Harbaugh the two longest serving coaches on their teams in the NFL??

It would be even crazier if Tomlin and Harbaugh replaced each other.

Remember a few months when Trump/USA loaned $2.5 Billion to Argentina and the Left/Dims threw a fit. Called it corrupt and lots of stupid things, saying stupid things are what they seem to be best at.
Well guess what? The Argentinaians have already paid the loan off. Has anyone heard anything about that on fake news??

There is a growing argument for Flores coming back to Minn.

‘He was already the head coach of the Miami Dolphins. The New York Giants are one of four teams named in his ongoing discrimination lawsuit against the NFL. He took himself out of consideration for the Arizona Cardinals’ job when it was last open, so it’s unlikely he’ll get an interview request there.
So that leaves the Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Ravens, and Raiders as the possibilities for Flores to get a head coaching job this year.
The first three are growing very unlikely, given how they’ve all already tapped several candidates for first interviews. And Las Vegas has yet to request an interview, despite a long list of candidates they have asked to talk to.

KOC has another year to show me some things. He’s been successful here IMO as we have had winning seasons under him. If Cousins Achilles hadn’t ruptured in 2023 I think we could have gone a long way in the playoffs.

If we can retain Flores, and the defense is as good next year as it was this year, then KOC must show me he can put an offense together that is consistently strong in our games. I know in the NFL that being really good in every single game is almost impossible. We need consistency and competency though. I want to see that this coming year with KOC.

One of our favorite places in SoCal closed, Marie Callander’s.

I still get e-mail coupons and specials sent to me monthly. The funniest part is the e-mail states that the only place the coupon could be used is the restaurant that closed.
They have one ‘limited service’ place located near us, we have been once to check it out. Not the same at all.

This true?

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested and charged with trespassing in Tampa Bay, Florida, early Monday morning in what’s become the latest run-in with the law for the young star receiver.

According to court documents obtained by Heavy, Addison was arrested by Seminole Indian Police at 3:46 a.m. ET on January 12. He was charged with a first-degree misdemeanor for trespassing in an occupied structure or conveyance.

A source told Heavy that Addison was arrested at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, located 12 miles from the Tampa Bay International Airport. He was released from custody at 2:40 p.m. ET on Monday after posting bail for a $500 cash bond, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

It is disturbing that Jerome Powell and the Fed can negatively affect the economy based on politics like they are, and there is no way to stop them. They are in a word, untouchable, and so they can cost us Billions and Billions of dollars by keeping interest rates high. Despicable and insidious. Evil even.

The Fed in many ways is like Federal Judges. They are both suppose to be independent agencies so they can act and do their job without political interference and bias. “Suppose” here is a key word as it has all become so political.
What is needed is a reasonable method for accountability.

Yes, but I guess the construct financially is the Fed is the equivalent of the Supreme Court. The highest order of the land for the economy. There is no one that they have to account to. No higher level of authority. It’s a legal conundrum really. We want an independent non-partisan Fed, but there is no way to actually assure that.

Ideal inflation rate is around 2%, so they have a little work to do with that. Also the price of gold is staggering, we will know that faith in the dollar is improving when the price of gold comes down. By selling Venezuelan oil in US dollars, we are using petrodollars to improve the confidence in the USD, which is currently low (hence the relationship with gold).

Agree, and this administration is the first one in my memory really taking action on our “prosperity”. Politicians by default tax and spend like drunken sailors, and have all my life. Trump is working hard to increase revenue, while decreasing expenditures. We’re seeing clearly now how rampant fraud is within our Government, and how trillions of dollars have been stolen from us over the last 10 years.

One issue is that the Fed is historically very conservative. Basically, they go out of the way to “cause no harm”. Trump is the exact opposite. When he has a goal, he charges forward “damn the torpedoes!’ to try to accomplish his goals.

Like the Dems & Reps., if the two would meet in the middle and look for common ground, we, the common people, would be better off

I find Trump to be practical, pragmatic, prudent, and smart when it comes to the economy. His perspectives and policies make sense. The left hates Trump so much they want everyone to believe their ridiculous financial and economic positions. Even after Trump has proven them all wrong. Remember how we were advised that Trump’s tariff’s would make everything more expensive, and in fact drive us into a recession? Even the next depression? Yeah… I never bought into that BS. His work to make our international trade be fair has worked to our economic advantage. Sick of folks telling me to “meet in the middle”. No. We have to be honest here. The left is wrong about everything, and “meeting in the middle” is stupid.
