So I learned something new on the last flight segment.
There are more levels of hades than I thought.
I get on the plane last due to rescheduling and not wanting to have 6 trillion stopovers, and plane being packed, have to plop down next to 2 extra-large Marges.
It’s one thing to be next to non-stop talkers, but then not only do they move right past talking with their hands but they move to flapping their whole arms when they talk, on every single sentence.
My seat is bouncing, the plane seems to lurch on every gesticulation, and then they promise to quit but no more than 2 minutes later they’re flapping their hunnert-pound appendages again like they’re the landing beacons on an aircraft carrier.
This is why I drive instead of fly.

Glad you’re up and running again. One year my wife flushed a salt-water fish that she found floating belly-up in the aquarium. That was an easy snake, but then my 2-year old topped her by flushing a comb down the toilet. Had to drain the tank and remove the toilet from it’s mount, go at it from the opposite end with a hacksaw blade to carefully cut the comb in half before it would come out.

Yep and the taxes are going up along with insurance. I ran it at a 700K loan and I figured about $1800 more for a 1M house in Denver. People simply can’t afford that now.
So the house we’re looking at buying (when prices return to some level of normal) is dropping at about 10k in value per month. Naturally it went from $460k in 2020 to $760k now. When if ever it gets back to around $575k we may buy it if the owner will sell. He should sell now but I’m not buying a home that jumped $300k in 2 years. Thats inflated by at least $250k maybe less.
Yeah, I would wait and/or look for a similar house. I’ve spent way too much time reading on this but I can tell you it’s going to get ugly, especially in some areas.

I ran the disposal (fine)
I cleared the P-traps
I cleared the lines from the dishwasher to the sink
I used baking soda and vinegar
I used boiling water
I used a plunger
No go.
So then I went to Menards, bought a 25′ drain snake / plumber auger, and went to town. It felt like I hit resistance that then gave way at a couple different depths, but that could’ve been just hitting corners and needing to run the auger to get past ’em. went to a depth of 25 feet, retracted the snaked, put ‘er all back together…
No go.
Now a plumber is coming over and I’m ready to feel foolish when the solution ends up being something simple. We’ll see. I’ll let you all know.

We’ve got drains that wouldn’t let a sock or paper towels down (unless someone jammed something like that into the garbage disposal and got it to go down).

If it is tree roots then your sanitary line is likely compromised anyway as roots won’t plow thru a pipe but enter only at a void…so it was broken already. Are all the shower/tubs draining out? Strange that it would only affect the sink drain especially beyond 25′.. unless you pushed whatever obstruction further down the line lol

My random story of the day…my wife loves traveling in the RV as she enjoys the ability to use the toilet whenever she has the urge and as is typical of her sex in that is far more often than I typically need to pee. I also consider the RV toilet an “emergency only” #2 zone and will unabashedly use whatever auxiliary toilet I can find from a vault on up to avoid filling the black tank with anything but liquid. However she has no desire to sacrifice her comfort in the #2 zone department (I think she is smarter than I) so we put some of that blue digesting liquid in the tank to kinda dissolve everything. Since Glendive doesn’t have a public RV dump I just “EPA be damned” pull into one of our convenient pastures and let fly the black tank followed by grey tank contents, and since we enjoy the relatively pristine appearance of our viewscape she carefully puts any paper in a little bag tied in the bathroom for that purpose. Seems to work well, the cows crap wherever they want and within two days I can’t find any evidence we dumped there.

She typed information which was classified as Top Secret/Specialized Compartmentalized Information/Special Access Program (TS/SCI/SAP) which is about the most classified information there is into an open, totally unsecured (non-encrypted with DoD encryption) email that was processed through an unsecure server at her residence to people who had no security clearance at all. This information is so sensitive it cannot be discussed outside a SCIF (SCI Facility) which is a highly secure room or building. Had I done that (let’s say I emailed myself this info to my commercial email account from my official government account) I could spend the rest of my life in prison. You clearly do not understand the gravity of what Hillary did. For comparison, there was a young Navy kid who took a picture of his bunk inside a nuclear submarine which he then sent to his parents. The Navy put him in jail for 10 years for violating security rules (no photographs inside a nuclear submarine). Hillary should have gone to jail for a minimum of 50 years for the information she typed into those emails. That is the reality you don’t know.
None of the information she supposedly transferred to an unsecured server was ever compromised. Do you actually believe she’s the first elected official to do that?? I could look up the exact verbiage but I’m going to say that if a combination of years of service and age added up to 60 you qualify for 90% of your top five years of pay, indexed to inflation. Dad retired flat out at 52 and although the job had its share of hazards he spent plenty of time mastering his cribbage skills etc on the DND dime. My mom gets 65% of that as a spouse. With her own Social Insurance plus hospital pension she probably nets more than I do in a month and spends not a dime except for the room and board at the senior living center. I keep asking her to do something with her money as all I can see is a massive tax bill coming my way.
