History shows clearly that Cousins can throw the ball well and generally not make mistakes with the ball in games. Years of data on this. Cousins will be fine in the regular season. He’ll throw for over 4.500 yards and 35 TD’s. Five is being his normal self.

Certainly his entire time here the offense has been built around Dalvin Cook with the passing game seemingly an afterthought. Cousins has always been a detail oriented, execute the offense as designed and as called guy. The way the new scheme plays out Cousins will be throwing the ball at times to a hole and expecting the receiver to adjust their route and get into that hole. Gonna be interesting to see if the connections are there or a lot of incompletions.

Honestly training camp reports aren’t going to tell us anything real. It’s practice. We won’t even learn that much Sunday because it’s a practice game and teams aren’t going to show anyone what their real offense and defense is going to do.
This ^ iv learned to not gain anything from preseason. Even though starving for content. Things dont matter until the real games start. Then we are free to over analyze.
It’s fun to watch certain positions/guys when there’s something to look for.
I enjoy all the training camp news across the league. By this time of year I’m desperate for any football talk (except the Cousins debates, I still skip those). I’ve learned not to take any of it too seriously though.
I really like watching the battles for the 2nd & 3rd positions, and to see if the rookies can earn a spot. It’ll be interesting to watch Bradbury, because he needs to step up this year. I’ll also be watching Cine to see how he’s adapting.
Also tight ends, see if any of them is able to find their ass with both hands.

After watching the video I have a question for NVF as he would have the most knowledge… Since when do the members of the military wear jump suits for that duty?!? I always remember them wearing dress uniforms for these instances. Or am I wrong?
Marine One is a Helicopter and the flight crew who are in flight suits perform this duty as a matter of course. When his exit from an aircraft is deemed “ceremonious” the Air Force performs the duty in service dress though.

Guy must be laser sharp in practice or something. Makes sense, you can play like a robot in practice & be successful, and he plays just like a robot. Not one of those new athletic robots, one of those old ones with no coordination.
I think Mannion sees the game as a coach and understands the offense better than most. I’ve never seen him play but his stats are singularly unimpressive. He may know what to do and where to go with the ball, but getting it there is another matter.
My guess is that when he shows up at practice he can slo-mo through every single play and deliver the ball fairly accurately, hence he’s good at working with and running the 2nd team.

Denver’s minimum wage is going up to $17.29 an hour in 2023, in line with Consumer Price Index rate.
I work downtown in the center of the office buildings. Within a 3 block radius of the building there were the approximately 15 places to go for lunch. There are now 3. The current min wage is $15.87 an hour and they still can’t get anybody to work. But even if they could they would be hard pressed to survive as a lunch spot paying those wages. It’s simply not possible and nobody talks about it being the reason they are all closing.
This is an example of big city liberal politics where the so-called leaders pass laws that look good for them but are totally unrealistic in the real world. Yet another example of why I am happy to be leaving Denver proper.

NFL Gamepass has become NFL+ Premium. One of the new benefits is that local games can be watched live on your phone or tablet. I’m an old guy with bad eyes, so watching on my phone is not really a good option. So I thought, cool, I can watch games on my tablet. Well, Amazon is special and so my Fire tablet is not eligible for the NFL app (also no MLB Audio on the Fire). I think my next tablet will be an iPad.

Yeah, I was excited at first when I heard about it because I thought it’d be NFL’s own “Sunday Ticket”-like service. Nope. Just a local TV streaming option? Dumb.
See my note above. Plus since I am not in market, the NFL+ has the option to see the game replay shortly after the live game is over. That way I can see the game, just on delay.
And the replay option is available on Roku so I can see the game as it was meant to be seen; on a 75″ tv.

It’s one of those things that are too sad so they are funny, but my niece’s husband is a Packer’s fan, but he lives. west of Menomonie, WI so although he is in Wisconsin, he is in the Cities market, so he gets all of the Vikings games. I live south of EC, so I am in the La Crosse/Eau Claire market and I get all of the Packer’s games. There are times I really hate the NFL.
When I first moved back to WI, I lived by Elk Mound. I had DISH, and could pay for Twin Cities local channels. Moved to Eau Claire, they shut them off because I was in the Eau Claire market and had to have Eau Claire channels (Packer games).
I argued with them until I was blue in the face, telling them I was PAYING for the TC locals, I wasn’t trying to scam anything for free. Nope. Didn’t care.
DISH sucks. It was a happy day when I dumped that.

I don’t have live tv anymore (I got rid of Hulu Live after the end of last season). The only live tv I watch is football, so I am not paying all year round for no reason. I have a 75″ tv and a Roku which I am happy with most of the year. I do not live in the Viking’s market, but live in Packer country. I live on the edge (close to MN), so my local market often gets the Vikings, but any time the Packers play in the same time slot, I’m out of luck.

No. They will not allow you to livecast or use a Roku to a big tv. They have to “protect” the local market by trying to force you to get cable or satellite I guess.
Can’t you just attach your phone via an HDMI cable? I do it with mine. Then again, I have an Apple device, which is superior.
So, this NFL+ doesn’t appear it will work for us in WI. It gives you “out of market preseason games” but only “local and primetime regular season games”

I no longer have antenna for free tv. It broke many years ago and I never replaced it. I probably should.
I growed up with tin foil TV antennas that you had to adjust all the time
I live way in the sticks so to get over the air tv I have to have a large antenna way up on the roof.
I remember 25-30 years ago when people were tearing them down and giving them away because they wanted cable and they were “unsightly”

When the Vikes and the Pack play at the same time, they show Packer games on TV.
When they don’t play at the same time, it’s 50/50 whether we get to see the Viking game, or somebody else.
Only time we’re assured of getting the Viking game is when they play GB, or have a primetime game.

For them to not have a decent streaming package that is simple to understand is beyond me.

They don’t want to, since it would break their 40 year old cable scheme, and they’d have to think their way through a new system, which they don’t want to do, since they’re busy thinking their way through SJW crap.

As others have said, it’s about the money from the contracts.
Someone with the aptitude should do a market study showing that individual team packages would be more lucrative.
Even if they’re not, I’ve heard that smart people can make stats/data say whatever they want.
Back in school we called that add a column accounting. That way you can make the numbers sing and dance for you.
Don’t know if you’d want to do this, but there are certain apps and add-ons that you could put on your Roku, and you can stream the Vikings games live. I bought NFL sunday ticket for years through Directv but I cut the cord in February 2020 because it was getting expensive, and bought a couple of amazon Firesticks. I am a Lions fan living in New Jersey. I was worried about streaming at first, but the quality has been good and I haven’t had any issues the last 2 seasons. Everything is 100% free except for the price of the Firesticks.

I love apple as well. You don’t need to get a phone every year. My last 3 phones were Iphone4, Iphone6, and I just upgraded a few months ago to Iphone11. Never had any issues with any of them.
Yeah, I’ve used Apple ever since I made the move to a smartphone. Think I had the iPhone 3 as my first one, had them ever since and have never had a lick of trouble. Only repair I had to have was when I broke the screen one time, but that was my fault, you shouldn’t slam your phone into your workbench after seeing an interception thrown, even if it has an Otter Box case, because it will break the screen.

Yikes. Sounds similar to our trip to Maine a few years back – on the way home we stopped at Niagara Falls, crossed the border into Canadia. Our niece turned on her phone to check her messages and got nailed with about a $500 roaming charge.

I strutted around the playground at recess with that on my shoulder, maxed out volume so distorted I was the only one who could recognize the songs I had recorded by laying it next to the stereo speaker at home. MAN, was I a cool dude!
Hell yeah. I had one of those cheap bastards with only one speaker, though.
I remember using that type of cassette recorder to build my own music cassette tapes that I would play in my car. I was a cool dude…LOL
