It doesn’t really matter how you get there, you just have to get there. Now, do I think that the Vikings can go anywhere in the in playoffs if they’re playing like they did yesterday? Nah. Do I think the Vikings will continue to get better? Well, yes. Most teams improve throughout the year, and I see the Vikings continuing to improve on both sides of the ball. As of now, the Minnesota Vikings have the second-best record in the NFL. Hoo-ah! SKOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s nice to see the team playing smarter this year. We aren’t getting dumb penalties, we aren’t jawing after the play, we’re playing clean football.
Seriously. Basic fundamentals are way up in 2022.
Not playing so tight, either. The defense is really starting to look better, especialy in coverage. which was their weakness. They’ve been good against the rush, and they’re getting better as the season progresses. If they can continue to have good luck avoiding injuries, this is going to be a really fun season.
Agree about the offense, mostly. But I’m more impressed by the defenses progression. Makes sense it would take them more time given the scheme change but I was was really frustrated this week by the offensive lapse.
I turned to my wife a few plays before Harrison’s INT and said the D is getting ready to get a takeaway and it’s going to turn the game. They did and I had confidence the offense would put it away. But they can’t continue their 3 rd quarter ineffectiveness…it’s going to catch them at some point.
That said, this is the Kirk we’ve been waiting for the past 4 seasons. The switch from “stats don’t matter” to “only stats matter” by some fans is stupid. The team loves him and they’re winning games. Great time to be a Vikings fan, unless you’re a pansy that can’t handle a little butt hurt.

I wanted the Vikings to play the opponents starting quarterbacks with all the players healthy and at the opponents stadium. But the more I think about it, playing the backups and winning is Ok for now. The players are still learning how to play this scheme and the coaches are still learning how to coach. Everything is still new.
