Now that I have most of my brewing equipment, I have to make the tough decision of what to brew for my first beer in the house & to serve in the bar.
Thinking a good, old fashioned, chocolate stout is a safe bet. Although maybe a nice, spiced winter ale would hit the spot since we’ve finally hit the cold weather.

I’m a very seasonal beer drinker. Dark stuff when it’s cold, browns when it’s not winter but still cold, lagers and sours and (good) IPAs during summer time.
Coffee Stouts might be nice on tap so I can drink during the day and counteract the alcohol with some caffeine @because science@

Except I can’t lick my own nads, but that goes without saying, I suppose.
New company trying to set up all of us with new Outlook 365 emails today, as you can guess about half the people trying to get their new emails set up are having issues.
I’ve already wished our IT people and the overlord helpers that have come on site good luck getting this going during the short week.
365 is pretty user-friendly. I was able to set it up for our business with ease. If I can do it, I think most people should be able to.
That’s a good sign! I’m happy that we’re already getting some real software handed down from Megacorp HQ, because we’ve been ‘making do’ with a bunch of cheap or even free versions of software attempting to copy stuff like Office and SAP.
Being able to get off of Zoom and use Teams will be awesome, even if most other people in the office will probably hate the transition period.
Teams is very easy to use. So easy, this guy can use it.
I came from teams, then started dealing with 45 minute Zoom timeouts and immediately was out
Plus, we use Slack for project communications and that should port over to Teams nicely
I wear slacks sometimes. Do they still call them slacks?

Yeah, still not pleasant, but could be worse. Replacing floors is kinda fun, though. Especially if you’re going with tile.
It was just one game. It was a hideous, horrible, ghastly game, but just one. It gave me ptsd flashbacks to some previous years and games, but it was one game.
I keep trying to tell myself that it was only one game, but I’m losing the battle. I’ve seen other good teams come out and have a stinker game, but this was beyond stink.

Yep. Kiddo and I had to go out & sit in the hot tub, it was a pathetic excuse for a game. My 9-man high school team could’ve challenged the Vikings yesterday.
