The Dallas Cowboys came to Minneapolis today, and they beat the absolute dog snot out of the Minnesota Vikings. There really aren’t many positives to take from the game. Actually, there are none. The Vikings were outplayed on both sides of the ball, the Vikings were outcoached, and the Vikings were destroyed. The Cowboys have a poor run defense, so our coaches decided NOT to run Dalvin Cook. Cook had 8 carries for 46 yards by halftime, an average of 5.6 yards per carry, That’s a really good average, but when you only get 8 carries, it doesn’t do much good. Here are the stats from ESPN, if you want to torture yourself.
The Vikings now eight and two, which is the second-best record in football. They also sit WAY in front in the NFC North, and all but have the division locked up. This is a great position to be in. This game is one that you have to put in the rear-view mirror, there’s nothing else to do with that pathetic excuse for a game.
In the end, the Vikings are in great position on this season. The Vikings are going to win the NFC North. The Vikings will be in the playoffs. They have some things to work on, no doubt, but there is absolutely ZERO reason to give up on this season. We’ve been through far worse, folks. It’s one game. As a dumbass once said, R-E-L-A-X.

I picked the Vikings to lose this one, so I am not surprised. After the emotional high of last week’s win, this game had trouble written all over it.
I didn’t think they’d get shellacked, though. Good reality-adjuster game. They had to get some more losses sooner or later. They weren’t going 16-1.
