before today the yard was covered but the driveway was perfectly clear (due to my anal-retentive efforts) – we’ll see how the blow-n-salt goes today.
We got a couple inches last night, add that to the 2 feet we got a couple weeks ago, then add another foot next week, this shit should be fun.

Kiddo is improving. Still a shitty cough, but hopefully the antibiotics will do their work. Poor fella had pink eye and an ear infection. Double whammy, no wonder he felt like shit.
That doesn’t sound fun.
That’s a tough draw. If he doesn’t get pink eye in the other eye, he’s doing a good job of washing his hands, not touching his face, or both (probably both).
Ear infections are the worst. I had a handful of ’em when I was a kid. Had to swallow pills that looked like horse medicine.
Yeah, no pills for him, luckily. They gave him an oral antibiotic. I didn’t know they had such things.
The pink eye must be a school thing, it’s the second time he’s gotten it. I’ve never had it in my entire life. All the booze I drank when I was younger must have killed off all the bad germs in my body.
MT Viking’s wife is having surgery today (unless it moved again or I’m remembering incorrectly), so for those of you who believe in prayer and/or sending thoughts, feel free.

Not really anything new. The job that was supposed to be over in June is still dragging on. I will probably be done with it sometime in the next couple of months. Then I need to decide what to do next. I’m tempted to retire.

Correct. I may go full time selling books. Maybe I can get it up to a living wage.
If I were a couple years older, I could probably snag an early retirement out of this work situation. I doubt they’ll offer it to me at 48 years old, most likely a severance or something.
