Aloha, Skoloholics!
As we all know, Keenan McCardell has been the Vikings wide receivers coach for the past two seasons, and he has been a very good one. He was one of the few personnel who Kevin O’Connell kept on board from the Zimmer administration when KOC took over as head coach. You have to think McCardell has had a hand in developing Justin Jefferson, and helping him to become an MVP candidate in 2023. Other Vikings wide receivers, such as KJ Osbourne and, more recently, Jaylon Nailor, have also developed under McCardell.
Other teams have taken note of McCardell’s success. He was interviewed by the Patriots for their open offensive coordinator position, but then the Patriots passed on McCardell and filled that position with Bill O’Brien. Now, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have also interviewed McCardell for their open offensive coordinator position, according to the Buccaneer’s website.

Whether or not we’ll see McCardell on the Vikings sideline in 2023 remains to be seen. Let’s hope so!
If I were McCardell I would pass on that job, Bowles sucks and is going to get fired next season.
Good for him, hopefully he’ll take Thelein with him if he gets hired
