LET’S GET OFFENSIVE!

Interior of Minnesota Vikings US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis

Kevin O Connell inherited a top 10 offense with the idea that his offensive scheme would make it just that much better. The Packers game was the fruition of a night where everything went right. The Eagles… Well, it all went south.

Kirk Cousins had disastrous night under center. Dropped passes. Missed opportunities. Checking down and eventually checking out. Normally KC would be a decent QB and at least pick up the stats after the Eagles took their foot off the gas, but that didn’t happen either.

So what can we expect from the Lions tomorrow? There are some interesting things on the injury report to look at on the Lions side.

Aiden Hutchinson is Questionable with a hip injury. His backup is John Cominsky who is out… So perhaps we see Hutchinson as a slightly less mobile EDGE or we get to see the third stringer Julian Okwara?

Amani Oruwariye is a starting CB with a back problem, but was a FP on Friday

2nd stringers S JuJu Hughes (Shoulder) and S Ifeatu Melifonwu (Hamstring) are also listed as FP on Friday.

So there are some possibilities that their defense will have to play starters more due to injury and be suspect.

Conversely the Purple are not showing any injuries on the offensive side of the ball.

This may be a great time for the Minnesota Vikings to go after the Motor City Kitties. Perhaps even return the Offense to some modicum of respectability?

Enjoy the debate!

I would guess Kirky comes back with a good game.
He is the greatest mediocre QB in NFL history.

Unfortunately Philly printed a excellent instruction manual on how to destroy our offense. Every team will use it to the best of their ability. We have the lowest 3rd down conversion rate in the nfl and have had the most three and outs also. We led three and outs last season too. Boy wonder coach has his work cut out for him with this offense and the defense is currently the worst in the nfl.
