It’s game day! The 3-4 Vikings are riding a two-game losing streak with a sputtering offense that’s being held together by duct tape and tarp straps. The Lions are healthy, playing strong, and sit at 5-2. The Vikings should get clobbered. However, these are the Vikings, so you just never know what might happen. Let’s hope for an upset.
Getting Van Ginkel and Cashman back on the field will give a huge boost to the Vikings defense. J.J. McCarthy is back under center. McCarthy is in his rookie season for all intensive porpoises, so I don’t expect him to throw for 400 yards and 5 touchdowns. However, I do hope that he can stay healthy, work through the learning curve of becoming an NFL QB, and launch his career in the league (again), which I hope is successful and lasts for a couple decades.

Oh, and the league I’ve actually remembered to put game picks in for I was the only one to pick the Vikings. It wasn’t just blog lip service. JJ is the future. This year is not over and the future is brighter than my sunglasses can handle.
