Not a ton of news out there these days. Even though the season hasn’t officially ended, the news cycle has certainly slowed. We’ll get the occasional coaching hire, or one of the top 3 QBs of all time might retire, as happened yesterday, but other than that, it’s going to be fairly dull from now until the draft. I suppose we could start doing mock drafts.

Yeah, I’m hopeful for next year. Our defense has been tough to watch since 2020, it’ll be nice to at least have league average on that side of the ball.

I have Burger King regret. I know better than to eat there because it never feels good afterward, but once every six months or so, I am deep enough in the pits of self-loathing to think this time will be different.

Over here, Burger King is much better than McD. Burgers, fries, everything.
Did you ever eat BK fries back in the 80s? They were much better then, when they were real potato fries.
In the late 80s they switched to this starchy glop that gets oozed out of a press like a Pladoh Fuzzy Pumper Barber Shop into french fry shapes and flash-frozen.
Didn´t have BK over here back then, AFAIK they only opened around my neck of the woods in 2000 (they opened a BK in Vienna in 1981 I think, but that restaurant was closed pretty quickly, market wasn´t ready for them).
Real potato fries are the best, but you get those only when you make them at home, pretty much.
First time I ate at McDonalds was in Konstanz, FRG. School trip. Think I had a cheeseburger and a coke. Probably cost me a mark and 50 pfennigs.

McD used to have better fries, the only thing that they got going for them compared to BK. Then the EU thought of regulating how crispy fries are allowed to be made (for our health, of course), and since then both have gone to shit. I always feel like I´m getting served half done fries, which is why I don´t frequent neither McD nor BK much anymore.
But when the craving hits, BK wins most of the time.

I enjoy eating, too. I just think fast food tastes like shit. If I’m going to enjoy something that’s bad for me, I’d rather do that at dessert & have a bowl of ice cream. To me, fast food isn’t a treat, it’s shit.
