While on a leave of absence from the team, now former Vikings D-line coach Chris Rumph accepted a position with Clemson, per MSN. That’s gonna turn out to be a long leave of absence.

A double whammy for the Jaguars last night as they lost to the Bengals and lost Trevor Lawrence to injury, from CBS Sports.
CBS Sports also reported that the Jets are looking to make ANOTHER change at quarterback. That would be the fourth QB change in 3 weeks by my count. HC Robert Saleh is not ready to name the starter for week 14 yet. Eh, why rush? He has DAYS to make a decision.

ESPN’s Kevin Seifert says Wes Phillips said he anticipates the Vikings confirming their starting QB tomorrow when the practice week formally begins.

Maybe I’m missing something but a lot of vitriol follows this comment and I don’t get it. It sounds like she’s a female captain and she’s confirming she’s a woman, so what’s the issue? I get this shouldn’t be necessary but is she perhaps making a subtle statement that of course she’s a she/her? I could see possible concern if she included they/them (or whatever the acceptable alternative is) but in this case, she’s supporting gender consistency. What’s the issue here?

my money is on Dobbs starting this sunday. I think they will give him ONE more shot at either pooping the bed or becoming the magic man again. the amount of time and effort that KOC and the coaches have put into him this past month will bring about at least ONE more start. but if he turns the ball over a couple times, bring Hall or Mullens in, probably Hall.

Was looking at survey at top and thinking it will probably be Dobbs (not Hall). My 2 cents.
coaches hate QB changes and KOC was a former QB. He didn’t like the interceptions but believe he got past that.
I think the hang up point was JJ coming back and wanting to open up entire playbook – especially getting him the ball down the field, like 20-25 yard passes. He may have doubt Dobbs can do that, so he’s considering. Probably Mullens.
Overall, think he’ll stick with Dobbs though, for a bit longer.

Yup. Just my two cents, but don’t do that. If you are worried that getting a joint injection will hurt and don’t want it done, just tell your doc you don’t want one or cancel the injection. PITA to go through the whole consent process and have a sterile tray and meds all ready to go. Which is not to say you should proceed if you don’t want it after the consent, but I think this pt knew there was no way before I entered room. Or else I scared ’em.
Which takes me back to when I would work up the nerve to approach a young woman and strike up a convo, ask them to dance, and they would say no. was leaving the gym this morning to find a girl had absolutely obliterated her tire into a curb, the wheel was sticking in the completely wrong direction, completely broken off the axel.
she was 17 years old, very very scared and crying. felt really bad for her, so i pulled in front of her and stayed outside her car talking to her until her parents got there.
told her if she had an issue with her battery that i was the guy for that job, but couldn’t do anything with a wheel completely off the axel.

Almost always in the middle east. He’s very white and pretty clearly American. He just talked about he never had an issue, it’s funny how when you treat people like people and with dignity you usually get the same in return. I am not dumb about it. Just between that talk Rollins gave I kind of changed my stance on worrying about that stuff. That and living on the Rez for 10 years helps push that worry down as well. Again, I’m not looking for issues lol.

I’m not assuming others don’t at all. It’s more of you’d be surprised how well received I’ve been in many places considered hostile or scary not because I am some macho man. It’s the tone on here that if I say I’m going to Chicago or Minneapolis and people go, you’ll probably get shot. Then I say something about how it’s not that bad, then they got well this certain and certain place is… why not just start with that. I hate the first reaction of that entire place is a hell hole where the shooting never stops and all outsiders are immediately killed type of reaction.

But it’s not incorrect to say going to Chicago and Minneapolis is incredibly more dangerous than anywhere in many states. That’s just an absolute fact – been proven like a theorem.
If you are fortunate enough to have enough money to stay in the areas that the rich have deemed good enough to protect in those cities then I suppose you can play the semantics game, many people aren’t and would rather not risk a large % increase in death just for an experience that may not be memorable.

Yeah, the most I’ve made it without renewing my registration was 18 months. 20 years seems a bit excessive.
I totally thought I had renewed my registration. Got picked up the day after my wedding, I was like I know I’m not speeding. It was July, the were supposed to be renewed the previous September haha.
Mine were supposed to be renewed March ’22. Thought I had, realized I hadn’t the Saturday after Thanksgiving, stayed home sick on Monday, got busy at work on Tuesday so I didn’t make it to the courthouse, Wednesday morning on my way to work, berries and cherries. Stupid me. Still can’t believe I made it that long until I realized what I did and was going to rectify it and then, nope.
I told the cop, I can show you my verification e-mail and he said, if I could he’d let me go… I go scrolling through my e-mails, could only find the one from yeah about almost a year expired haha. Ticket plus two years worth of registration… yeesh.
Yeah, ditto except I didn’t have to pay any back taxes or old registration so I’d say I came out ahead still.
Really? Then why ever register haha. They didn’t make you pay for the one you missed? That seems like the logical punishment on top of the ticket.
It reminds me of my parents doing some work on their cafe and the contractor said don’t bother with a city permit because the fine is the exact same amount as the permit and if you get fined you get the permit haha.
I was expecting it and it was just a renewal and I had to put new plates on. No back registration fee or back taxes. I guess it makes sense since I wasn’t necessarily driving the vehicle and they can’t prove I was, other than the day I was pulled over.
But still… that seems silly and incentivizes people to not register.
I doubt they expect people to go that long without registering (and not getting caught) and what do you do in a situation like one of my coworkers where he has a car that hasn’t run for a couple of years so he actually hasn’t driven it?
In minnesota, you’re supposed to register it as in storage. You don’t have to pay registration and there is no fee when you do register it.
Speaking of new plates, that reminds me of the time I rolled up to the border crossing between here and Regina (for those that don’t know the border crossings have cameras that capture license plate, underside of car, and pull up the registration data for the customs agent automatically) and the female agent asked me the license number of my car? I had no idea. She gave the biggest huff and then opened her door and stepped outside to look…then she asked me where the car was registered which seemed nonspecific so I asked her if she wanted to know the county and she said yes in the most exasperated tone. I’m guessing the system was down that day.
I worked at a Subway years ago, I had a State Trooper that came in regularly. We always talked when he came in, one time he asks me where I live and which route I take home. I thought it was weird so I took a different way home that night, only two ways to go that makes sense.
I’m driving home after my shift, and low and behold the lights come on behind me. The trooper pulled me over for expired tags. Gives me a ticket and sends me on my way.
The next night, he comes through the drive thru, i can only assume to avoid me, but he orders the same sandwich every time. I make his sandwich and add a handful of jalapeno seeds and throw them in the bottom of the sandwich.
Needless to say he never returned to that particular Subway, as long as I worked there.

Also made me think if he had a reaction of this scene.
Laxative powder would have been fun as well.

That is one benefit of living in Dawson County, when I get a renewal notice I can pop in and out of the courthouse in five minutes tops and free parking outside. I had some mildly stressful moments during my hour long waits at the Yellowstone County courthouse.
It’s gotten better at the courthouse here, especially if you make an appointment, but I usually just do it online. Still not sure how I missed my pickup but not my wife’s rig.
That’s the month – the year is right next to it on the side going up and down….
This gives me an idea. Buy some random license plate frames and put them on vehicles that they are obviously not meant for. Some possible examples:
-Find a car with the christian fish thing on it and put a frame that says the devil is my copilot.
-Prius gets one that says drill baby, drill or pro-oil, this doesn’t run on unicorn farts.
-Powerstroke gets one that says electric life or plug the pipelines.
and of course, find one with a big Packers sticker in the back window and put a Vikings frame on it.

I mean do it in parking lots and such to unsuspecting victims. How many people are going to notice a frame on their license plate right away? None. Then they will just be confused at the random looks they are getting going down the highway.

Assuming you drove an ES which is the same body style they share many parts but the assembly time for an ES is about five times as long, and the workers on the Lexus side of the assembly line have more responsibilities and power to hold the line than the workers on the Camry side.
No doubt you get excellent build quality with a Camry but they are not the same car, just with a Lexus badge. More sound deadening materials, etc…

Whenever my tags are about to expire I just grab a license plate off a vehicle with just updated tags.
Regarding the question of the day, mullens gives the team the best chance to win but I’d rather see hall for a full game, if he sucks or gets hurt then just play mullens

lol, Mond looked like poop any time I saw him, hall hadn’t looked like complete poop. He has more potential than mullens but isn’t nearly as experienced and doesn’t have the understanding of the offense he has. Coaches want to win no matter the circumstances and don’t care about things like improving draft position, KOC said he’ll play who can best get the ball to JJ and run the offense within its structure, right now that would be mullens so I expect he’d start Sunday
There is no way anyone could reasonably say Hall has more potential than Mullens at this point in time. He’s a rookie and in my mind got the start because Cousins was done for the season, Mullens was hurt, Dobbs was new, and Mannion was… Mannion.
We’ll see what KOC decides. I don’t see any of these guys in practice. That said, the more NFL games you start, the better you will be in running the offense, because of your live exposure to various NFL defensive schemes. Hall has almost zero in that department.
I do not agree with that. Mullens has enough NFL starts that you pretty much know what you get.
That is why Hall has more potential. he could be better, he could be worse, but I do think the team needs to find out.
Maybe seeing him in practice is enough….
Physically speaking hall has more potential, I should have said that, between the ears is unknown, much more evidence of what mullens is and isn’t than hall
If Mullens gives us best chance to win, believe he should play. Plenty of time down the road to see what Hall has.

But maybe, at this time of Hall’s development, Mullens is a “ways” better – at least for a team coming off two poor losses and needing a win to stay in playoff picture.
I agree JR. Mullens has a lot of NFL experience throwing the ball, and really was good at it for the Niners as a starter. His drawback was interceptions, but young QB’s are going to make those kinds of mistakes. Now a couple years down the road, and working with Cousins, he likely will be better with protecting the ball. The “known” factor here is, he can absolutely throw the damn ball downfield.
Just seems to me the strength of our offense is our receivers. To maximize that, play the one that can best read the defense, go through his reads, and then deliver the ball well down the field.
Problem is having a QB that can threaten the run has seemed to really help the stagnant run game.
That’s true too.
But at the end of day, and at least for know with JJ coming back, try to play to our strength. And if that fails, then change.
What’s worse? A stagnant run game or 4 brutal turnovers in a one-score loss? Or 6 brutal turnovers in 2 one-score losses?

Zero – my argument isn’t against Hall. Very Pro-Hall. My argument was against Dobbs keeping the job. Hall has the capability to be mobile and open up the run game in the manner you suggest, but as NVF points out, his ability to run an NFL offense likely isn’t to the level of Mullens who’s got more experience. I think the game Hall was named the starter was likely the combo of the perfect storm – Kirk ded, Dobbs fresh off the plane, Mullens hurt, Mannion – NOOOO!
Mullens is a very poor man’s Kirk haha. I know KOC knows more than any of us and gets to see them all in action… I just want to see what we have in Hall.
Patience – if our offense keeps putting up like recent numbers, you’ll see Hall soon enough.

Mullens understand the offense better and knows the playbook better, coaches don’t care about “finding out”, they care about winning now, especially when they are currently in the playoffs. Fans, including me, are interested in stuff like that, either way, KOC doesn’t give a shit about you or my opinion

GF, I have had this modem/router for a several years and have never had a single issue with it (comcast is another story) and its quite a bit more affordable now

I have been handed a 200,000 line spreadsheet.
Many duplicates in one column but different data attached to them in other columns. All duplicates are vertically arranged. I have to make them horizontal so that the file can be changed to another format, imported into another program and joined to data there based on a common field.
