VIKINGS NEWS – Tomorrow is the big day! We will get to see both new QB’s, and maybe Mullens will throw another INT for us. It seems like it has been a very long off season.
NFL News – FTP! I watched almost an hour of the pre season game on last night. I would not be worried about the Panthers or the Patriots doing anything this season. I know most starters were sitting, but it was very bad football.

Tomorrow will be a great sports day. NFL network will have the bears game at noon if anybody is interested in watching Caleb. The USA men’s basketball team is playing for gold, starting at 2:30. NFL network will air the vikings game at 3:00. Twins play the guardians at 6:10 to finish off a great day of sports! All times are central if anyone cares.
I find Caleb’s development important as it has pretty big implications for us down the road.

NFL used the “Hawkeye Tech” for first downs last night in the Det/NYG game.

I watched it last night. To me, the play was clearly short from the gitgo. Then 10 minutes later, this laser measuring technology shows a picture. It was really annoying.
Probably headed in the direction of most NFL rules.

I am shoulder pressing the 90 pound dumbbells for 8 reps these days.
Which if you lift, you’d know how crazy that is

Lol I dont think I could lift a 90lb dumbbell over my head with one arm, let alone do a full set of shoulder presses. I do half that. But I also weigh 148lbs soooo
I did an Inbody scan, and I would have to lose 40.1 lbs of muscle just to weigh 148.
Lol thats nuts. As I said, I dont have the genetics to be a “big guy” Im also only 5’9. Some people are just genetically stronger, lucky you.

Back when I was lifting, I got to 105 lbs on Military presses.
I weighed 145 mph.

But yes, I weighed 145 lifting weights back in my late teens and early 20s.
Did military presses daily.
Benched about 150 for 3 reps.

I never got into wrestling, but I had several wrestling coaches in junior and senior high ask me to wrestle because they did have many in the lowest weight class.
40 years later I struggle lifting 50 lbs.
Were you always 5’4? Thats stout weighing 145, would be a perfect wrestler. I mean, how old are you? The fact you are still doing physical activity is a good thing.
I was 4’11” in 9th grade
Reached 5’4″ my senior year so that’s where I have always been.
When I say I can barely lift 50 lbs now, that’s like a box or something. I don’t workout at all anymore.

Has anyone bought a new fridge lately? When it is running is it supposed to have a very low frequency sound that digs into your brain and makes you want to go crazy?
I got one this summer, its so quiet compared to my old one that I forget its even running. But my old one was LOUD. So, might not be the best person to ask.
Our old one was 20 years old and loud, but the loud sound was in the regular fan like frequency range. I could deal with that. This one is not loud, but the low frequency is not pleasant. Our house is small and my work desk is behind a partial wall right outside the kitchen/dining room so I am relatively close to the fridge.
Mine was from ..1990..or 1991? It was quiet until the compressor kicked in, sounded like a go cart, I got used to it over the years but the ex GF at the time hated it lol. When the new one does kick in its a very low hum that you cant hear unless you are standing next to it. Maybe your hearing is just right in that frequency…not sure what you could do to fix it besides move yourself…or the fridge haha
