Wow, not a lot of new news in the NFL world. It’s that ultra slow period of the NFL cycle, not much to hear until training camp. I used to like getting to training camp back when it was in Mankato. Meh, we’ll see.

Sorry for being MIA for a bit. Overwhelmed with getting ready for the move as well as the wacky stuff that keeps happening in my family. My 2nd cousin, who’s wife committed suicide, had his 3rd heart attack a week after her memorial. He’s still in v-fib. He’s only 44. His wife’s mother did offer to help pay for stuff, but 2nd cousin wouldn’t let her.
On the positive side, closed on the new place today. My sister and I both love it. Thinking very soon I’m going to stop trying to sort through stuff and just throw it in a box and store it in garage, let daughter deal with it some day, haha. We did get through quite a bit, took a whole car full go goodwill yesterday.
Also, RIP to Denny Crum, who passed today at 86. I credit him for my love of sports.
Tucker Carlson is moving his show to twitter. Had been hearing for a while he and Musk were working on it. Guess his attorney got him out of Fox contract, but not sure details.
Welcome back Kathy. Moving is always a challenge. It was hard to do when we were a young couple with 2 kids. I can’t imagine how much more of a chore it would be if we tried to do it now as we are so much older.
My mother-in-law does the “box” cleaning often. Just toss it in a box and deal with it later. Some times that is probably just the way to go.

Thanks. Moving always stinks, but it REALLY stinks when you’re older. I really tried to get rid of stuff, and my daughter helped go through her stuff which I still had (ugh),but running out of time and energy, so some will just have to get stored over there.
Running out of energy really is a thing. I remember when I was younger and when I had a big workout like moving, I would be tired, but I would rebound very quickly. Now not so much. My oldest son and I drove out to his next duty station in Seattle, WA (about a 25 hour drive) the last weekend of April. I was worn out for a week after that. Then we had grandkids last weekend and I’m still feeling that. This old age stuff is not for the fainthearted.
Soooo true. I worked loooong hours at Toyota and was a single parent, no problem. I don’t have the stamina I used to have, made much worse by all the crazy stuff that keeps happening in my family (emotionally exhausting). Renovating was awful too, but that’s pretty much over.

So all told, 9 Vikings departed the station in the off season (so far). Seven defensive players, a receiver and a tight end. Defense will have a lot of new blood, which may or may not work out. Who am I kidding? How much worse could the defense get?

The Premier Games are Green Bay and KC at $186
The regular price is $131 for the rest of the games.
The Preseason Games are priced at $31
You couldn’t pay me to go to a preseason game, so the $31 per ticket is way overpriced.
If I was in to the roster building I would enjoy a preseason game with some binoculars to watch guys on the bubble.
