VIKINGS NEWS – GAMEDAY! Well, sort of. Practice disguised as a game where they get to sell tickets at full price. Still, we get to see some simulated game vs a different team. We are not overloading these threads yet, so I think we can use this as a game thread as well. I will post a new open thread tomorrow so we can complain about things.

Watched several games using my NFL+ subscription. Saw lots of bad football, but I’m telling you what. The Texans offense is a joy to watch. The QB hits his back foot and that ball is out. Really good. Timing routes that just eat up the defense. Doesn’t matter who is under center.
Nice comeback and played everyone.
Mullens was conspicuously absent.

Maybe if they trust JJ to be QB 2 and someone has an injury and is desperate aka the Teddy situation.

I would keep Mullins over Hall at this point.

Raiders pulled a Zimmer. Run the ball three times and get stuffed. Don’t even try to get a first down, and turn it over to the defense. Worked just like always.

Vikings Defense needs help.
Special teams is not special.
Our 3rd string Defense beat whatever LV had on the field in 3rd quarter 14-0.
We got some decent young guys.
I think that is the 4th tipped ball.
I also think Hall stared down 1 receiver to make that easy on the DL
At least the 3rd, maybe the 4th.
In only two series….. not good.
Would be nice to see Jaren mount a drive here, but not expecting it.
If Raiders 5th string is in, it’s possible.

Yeah, I know this is preseason, but this defense looks really bad.
Some good plays here and there are mixed in with the terrible.
I wasn’t sure how it would be with Justin Jefferson on the mic, but that was fun. He is really into the game and was very excited about the second and third string receivers.
Was kinda fun to watch, actually.
We went 14-0 while he was on, so yes fun.
