Well…a silver lining perhaps. A few days ago, I pointed out the the Twins point differential for the season was 69. After todays 10-2 beat down of the White Sox. IIRC, they likely won’t achieve that milestone again this season.
Did you all like how we get a touchback on a fumble at the goal line…philly gets a TD on a blown false start play. Vikings always get screwed.
I know I’m bitter as it happened to us. But can we get rid of this insane “touchback” on a fumble rule. How does it make sense. If someone can explain how a team that gets the ball to the 1 inch line deserves a turnover if a ball gets punched out of thr end zone, and can make it logical, I will change my tune
The End Zone is defined as the area of the field where possession changes while the ball is in play. Thus when a ball is fumbled in the end zone and it goes out of bounds, possession must change.

The defense was on the field for 75% of the game and held them in check for 10 pts for 90% of the first half. Yet look at the score. Turn overs on the offense caused this loss. Yet people will complain about the defense tomorrow. Just astounding. AND ANOTHER TURN OVER on offense. Flores aint gonna wanna be here next season lol.

In the first half (I haven’t looked at the final numbers), the TOP for the offense versus defense was wildly imbalanced. Between the play calls and the offensive fuckups, the defense had no chance.
They were gassed…simple as that.
I agree, if you were on the team things would have been different because you’re amazing. But despite the defensive talent we have, they’re not as good as you.
