It is possible to drink too much while watching football…a cautionary tale.
Three Kansas City Chiefs fans found frozen outside home of friend who had ‘no knowledge’ of deaths: lawyer | Fox News
Couple weeks ago, right? How the hell does someone not know if freezing to death? Bizarre….
Supposedly it feels like falling asleep.
Cold, then drowsy, then sleepy, then dead.
3 of them? Lived in minny all my life. Drove for UPS 30 years, ice fish in winter. Never froze to death. (knock on wood)
I would guess a beating heart is required.
In order for it to stop that is.
So you are exempted.
#snort
A individual might not seem as strange. Don’t know man. All kinds of ways to go i guess..
It was one of the things were trained to watch for in the Army.
As was heat stroke of course.
Can’t believe such a lack of self awareness could exist with 3 people. Something don’t add up.
If drunk then ‘self awareness’ wouldn’t be that strong to start with.
We had a couple of soldiers in Germany freeze to death when sleeping off a drunk in their car. No one woke up to restart the car heater.
It can happen, makes the deceased look stupid after the fact.
Yes, one of them was literally found on the porch in the article…..
Like I said, you can drink too much…
Maybe if a Panther fan…
Father in Law in ND had a rope stretched from the detached garage to the back porch in winter, when I asked why he said for Blizzards.
He said every year they would find people who wondered off and froze to death, they found them under a drift every spring.
Yes, I have heard of ropes from the house to the barn for that very reason…
Being a weak, Socal boy it seemed crazy to me.
But as he grew up in Canada, lived in NE ND and was a Dr I figured he knew of what he spoke.
34 in minny! After a 10 day Artic blast it feels like late spring! Man, that global warming.
At least i don’t own a Tesla, man the stories you read. LMFAO.
Exactly….
I’ll never understand why they emphasize acceleration. One would think the purpose of an all electric vehicle is economy and thriftiness, not burnouts from the 7-11 parking lot.
LOVING this climate change. keep it coming!
$68 Billion Deficit Rocks California – Here’s What’s Causing It (msn.com)
Just reporting the news…this man, who now has California at 68 Billion in deficit, thinks he is presidential material…
Clown show. Saw a clip a San Fran mall had 17% occupancy. Business/people leaving like rats off a sinking ship.
No they’re not, Gavin said that’s a myth.
Yep, like the earth is round is a myth.
Any Blackhawks fans on here that can speak to just what the heck Corey Perry did to get cut by the Hawks? Signed on with the “team of second chances” and I’m not sure how I feel – would be great to shore up the bottom six but don’t want a disruption in the locker room of a team that has 13 W’s in a row right now.
Hocky is lame
Since the North Stars left Minnesota, yes, Hockey is lame.
I just had this conversion with my boss as he was discussing the Colts and Ravens. I haven’t followed hooky much since they moved.
I would say that the North Stars were pretty lame before they moved.
Fuck Norm Green!
I get that this is a Minnesota Vikings site, but you guys know that there are other hockey teams out there besides the Wild, yes? It’s not like I’m asking opinions about the NY Giants.
Wouldn’t feel too bad. Seems every subject under the sun is discussed here – yes, even politics.
At least, hockey is a sport.
Here’s what I found…
Something related to alcohol.
Got drunk and did some stupid stuff?????
One allegation:

Yeah that’s all I have found. Thank you. Sounds like another Evander Kane situation and he has managed to stay on the straight and narrow in Edmonton. If he helps us win a Stanley Cup I am all for it, basically a low risk signing unless he f’s up the locker room dynamics. Meanwhile social media roils at the disgusting decision of the Oilers to hire him despite the awful thing he did which no one has verbalized.
Didn’t he bang Conor Bedard’s mom or something like that?
That was the story but I think they refuted it. Maybe not directly, but I believe they said it had nothing to do with a player or their family.
Melanie is a babe btw.
I don’t get why that’s crossing the line.
I mean Zach Wilson has a list of Cougars he has been banging.
I heard when that story came out that Zach requested a trade to the Blackhawks.
I think its different when you bang your teammates mom vs banging your mom’s friends.
13?! No shit? I swear they started season like 2-8. Of course being a mild fan my interest is dwindling. Now Bally sports folding like a cheap chair so MLB,NHL and NBA may go to that great enterprise the Amazon. (charges may be added)
There’s still room on the bandwagon. Canucks Jets and Oilers…too bad only one of them can reach the SCF.
I’ll take the OIL.
I appreciate all your comments below.
On a lighter note, my 6 year old granddaughter and I are having some great conversations. Her parents are not sports fans and do not have live tv, they just do streaming services. Her bedtime has been during the football games that last couple nights, so as she was sitting in my lap watching football with me we discussed, “Is this on YouTube?”, “Why do football players have to play in the rain?”, “Can football players wear raincoats?” and the big one, “Can girls play football?”
Also, “Why isn’t there a cover (roof)?”
“the residents of that state didn’t fund a billion dollar monument to the taxpayers”
Yikes. What’s the answer to that one? Fortunately my granddaughters have never shown any interest in playing tackle football. In fact, the senior had the back of her head bounce off the gym floor during a losing effort at varsity BB on Saturday and told me, “I am so over basketball”. Don’t think she would like getting crushed like a grape on the gridiron.
My answer was that girls can play football, just not against these guys because they are big, strong and mean. She seemed to be ok with playing against other girls or guys that are not like that (big, strong and mean). She is a girly-girl, so I doubt her football playing will go beyond watching it with Far Far (me).
You obviously are perpetuating a Paternalistic societal order by reinforcing gender stereotypes….There are no real differences between guys and gals except for the reproductive part…Other than that, everything is a product of up-bringing…
Ha! Zactly.
I love the phrase “gender assigned at birth”. Little did I know that the (counts on fingers) 160 or so babies I assisted delivering (moms do the real work) were traumatized by my binary way of thinking.
You are truly a caveman.
Birthing people
They absolutely can. When I was coaching on the rez, I had multiple girls play for me (only 1 ever finished the season). Away games they were under the watch of the cheer coach not me, and they changed with them as well. I had 1 girl who was very openly gay and she changed with the boys. I asked my AD about this and he was like if the boys are fine with it, don’t make a fuss. The boys were fine with it. I remember walking into that locker room one time as I’ve done many times to grab a player to go over something and she was in there getting ready just bra and compression shorts and every thing in me went full alarm GET OUT! DANGER! Haha but I was like, if the boys can handle this with no issue so can I.
Those Indian girls can run all day on the BB court. All. Day. Long.
Rez Ball rules the Rez… Run and gun, no defense, no physical presence, it comes from having access to a court and ball since they were little.
Hopefully most of my wisdom will be better, or at least on par, with Calvin’s dad.
That might be true.
Calvin and Hopps auto rec.
I love this one.
Love it.
Long MT post to follow:
-felt like a long haul trucker over my long weekend. Trips to Billings and back Thursday and Friday and then a trip (in intermittent freezing rain) to Dickinson yesterday.
-for some strange reason although I have encountered plows and lots of blowing and drifted snow over the years driving from Edmonton-Wainwright, Grand Forks-Glendive, Rochester-Glendive, Billings-Glendive, I have never had significant plow problems until Thursday. Usually stay back and the plow pulls off at the next exit or crosses the median within ten minutes or so.
-on this occasion, GDV had about two inches of fresh snow, Miles City (about halfway) six, and BIL (our destination) about two. Wind was coming out of the north, about -2 out. Driving lane was plowed and pretty much clear, passing lane icy and snow covered.
-at the Custer county line and all the way into Miles City (about 40 miles), a plow was working the right hand shoulder (north side of I-94). With the volume of snow he was blading there was a huge snow wave that bounced off the guard rails, hills, trees, etc. The north wind blew that snow right back into the driving lane which was getting very slippy and he was averaging about 25 mph, varying from 5-40 or so.
-I’m hanging back, 4 cars back from the plow, trying to keep a steady 5 second gap between me and the car ahead. Intermittently lose sight of the car ahead and I’m mindful of the many cars and semis behind me, we all have our hazard flashers on.
-inevitably a couple of ding dongs with MT plates decide to pass the plow, the passing lane is terrible but go ahead and risk your life, dingus.
-going through the hills east of Miles there is so much snow blowing back from the plow I can barely see the car in front of me, snow is building up all over my vehicle and the defrost and wipers can’t keep up, I start backing off on the throttle until I lose sight of the vehicle in front. Semi about two seconds behind me.
-some dingus towing a toy hauler with ND plates decides he wants to beat the plow. Now I enter complete whiteout with the snow he is throwing off his trailer.
-out of the whiteout I see brake lights everywhere, the trailer and a SUV behind are stopped dead half in the passing lane and half in the left shoulder, on a bridge. Car in front is braking hard sliding to the right and I put the brake pedal to the floor and watch my speed bleed slowly, think I’m gonna slam into the car sliding in front of me, have nowhere to go except the guard rail and I can hear the chuff of the semi behind me locked on his brakes.
-the Vulva got slowed down enough that as the car in front started to correct and got off his brakes I could dodge into the center line and the truck behind came up to my right but none of us collided.
-like I said, I’ve done many thousands of miles in crappy winter conditions but that is the first time I darn near got collected in a pile up. The inciting factor was that damn plow, I think they are supposed to pull over every so often so as to discourage risk takers.
LOL.
Yes, they are supposed to pull over every so often….but if they don’t that doesn’t mean you have to be stupid and try to pass it….
Passing a snow plow in those conditions in just insane. No brains no head-aches…
Non-football post.
We have survived week one of granddaughter-agedon. Actually, she is adapting faster than I am. We are starting to get down a routine and get everything figured out. We had a long video chat with our son and DIL yesterday. Zeph’s first round of treatment was considered an induction failure. At the beginning of the treatment the cancer cells were 90% and at the end they were at 30%, which sounds good, but since they should have been down under 10 to 20%, it was considered a failure. It needs to get under 5% to be consider in remission. The next round of treatment will start this week and will be more aggressive. They are also sending us a kit to see if his sister is a match for a bone marrow transplant. One of the issues with the transplant is that the prep for it could make him sterile. They have some tough decisions ahead of them. Also, we knew that the MPAL was rare, but he is in a even rarer subcategory since he has almost no immune system. That creates some issues with treatment. One tentative decision we made yesterday is that we will probably have the granddaughter for the rest of the school year.
Tough times. I will add you to my prayer list.
Thanks Wren, we appreciate it.
Hoping for the best and praying for Zeph, I actually thought of him early this morning when I read a tweet about a reporter who has a young child with AML
thank you for the update, VP
been praying for zeph and your whole family. what a tough time.
Hoping for the very best for your grandson and your entire family.
Sorry to hear about the induction failure. That is a tough road ahead.
FWIW I never made kids, just got lots of practice. My stepkids had kids and I think grandkids are WAY better. Love my grandkids. So not being able to reproduce isn’t the end of the line, well I guess it is for my genes, you guys should thank me for that! Imagine a bunch of MT’s running around telling long boring stories.
I’ve been told with the MPAL, this could be a 2 to 3 year process.
Man, heavy, heavy stuff. I hope all the scientists and doctors get it figured out. So sorry, that’s just always tragic especially when the one going through it is such a youngster.
Oof.
Sorry to hear.
This brings back the gut punch we had a little over a year ago with our daughter.
All the best !
That’s rough. Stay strong and we’ll all be praying for you. Kids are amazingly strong and resilient, but cancer sucks, especially when it hits the little ones that don’t deserve it.
Thanks for the update….praying for all of you…
Best wishes to you and the family, mate.
Oh, sooo sorry, VP. That is terrifying. I may have missed it, but how far away from you are they geographically? Hope they have plenty of support there, but knowing the granddaughter is in good hands is a big relief for them.
We are in Wisc and they are at JBLM (near Seattle). My son is military so they have moved a bunch so they don’t have a lot of family out there. My DIL’s mom is out there now and will be there until the beginning of Feb. My wife has some family out there, but they are about 4 hours away. They live on base and the military family has been great. When they first found out, the neighbors came over while they were in the hospital and cleaned their house and did their laundry for them until family could get there. When we flew out over Christmas, one of the ladies from their church came to the airport to pick us up. People have been really good about helping them out.
Thank goodness for their military and church family and DIL’s mom. When my sister had her serious accident, it was a whole family event to support her, and we needed every single pair of hands.
We have been assured that wins are NOT a QB stat.
So there is no way Cousins would have lead to more wins.
Unpossible.
Logic checks out.
The answer is a firm NO. I would give us 2 more regular season wins with he who should not be named. Out in WC round
Yep.
I would go with 10 wins and the semi-annual one and done.
Wife has gone on a trip. I am officially unsupervised.
You know what I’m most excited about: I plan on cleaning and organizing the entire house. I already started over the weekend, and it was intensely satisfying.
What has happened to me? Is this being old?
yes it is what old is being all about..
when my wife took the kids to her parents place for a week, i cleaned and organized all the kids bedrooms, threw away a ton of stuff, rearranged beds/bunkbeds etc…
took me probably 4 whole evenings.
and it felt so good
There should be some kind of Man Camp where every guy gets a super messy cabin and full permission to throw away anything they want as they organize it.
Then at night they have a grill out and movie-watching event.
All of that is done by 8 p.m. Then they can do whatever they want before bed.
I would love to be able to just throw stuff away.
If I ask my wife if I can throw something away, it is 99 percent a “no,” even though she probably forgot we even had the item until I brought it up.
I now take things I think I can throw away and collect them in a pile in the basement. If she doesn’t noticed I have removed them from their original place after a decent amount of time, I toss them.
My wife feels that it should be donated somewhere, which is great, but then it sits in a pile for 6 months waiting to be donated.
My wife likes to take everything to a consignment store to sell, but the problem is during the time they go through she goes and picks out a bunch of other crap to replace it. The stuff they reject then gets brought back home for me to take to the thrift store. If I don’t do it in time she will change her mind and then take stuff out of the pile.
It really is a mindset that I can’t understand. Yesterday I dropped my wife off at the front door of Walmart so she could do some returns while I went over to the pickup area to get the stuff I ordered on the app. An half hour later she finally comes out of the store with a big bag of other stuff she got after she did the returns. Grrrrr!
It’s their world, they just allow us to live in it.
As soon as we are not needed to create babies we will be expelled.
I am no longer needed to create babies or assist with upbringing…
I believe the only reason she keeps me around is to reach the stuff off of the high shelves. If my height decreases too much as I age I believe I will be kicked to the curb.
I forgot about reaching high things and opening jars. We might have some time after all.
I’m not tall, but I am often asked to assist in opening jars. I may be ok for awhile.
I have a foot and a half on my wife. I’ll have to shrink a lot before I’m not necessary.
Amen brother.
Relax and enjoy the free time.
When I am left unsupervised I sleep or lay around and do nothing watching TV.
You are getting there Ben.
I do that when I am being supervised.
What a pansy.
Oh, I will get plenty of TV watching and sleep in, as well! That stuff is right behind the cleaning and organizing.
I also broke out my old comic book collection, and I’m reading some of those. It is surprisingly fun. I am reading the first Dark Horse Aliens comic right now. Hollywood should have just did the first two Dark Horse Aliens series on film instead of Alien 3, etc. Would have been way better.
Don’t tell MT you have comics books. He will come throw them all away.
Beat me to it. I was just typing something similar.
My only regret is I didn’t have the employee in the disposal warehouse snap a pic of me pitching several hundred vintage comic books, many in good to excellent condition.
Goose Morning & Marley Monday Skolbros!
Kirko Chainz gets us to the playoffs, but likely a first round exit. Defense was limping out tomato cans near the end, Hunter erased with Wonnum gone to not offer at least a small threat of another pass rusher, blitz couldn’t get home and the familiar ‘shell’ coverage returned and was promptly eaten alive at critical moments.
I do think the offense puts up points – but the lack of a run game would’ve hurt when it mattered most.
I don’t know if it’s possible with the cap but I’d love to see them bring in Christian Wilkins in FA.
In-laws gone, taking today to survey/repair damage – was super happy to find the half-eaten plate of scrambled eggs shoved under the air mattress in my guest room.
Hope everyone has a great week, and has someone to love them the way Goose loves Marley.
SKOL
🔨🔨🔨
Great takes! Eggsactly what I’m thinking as well.
Ha!
Were they any good?
was super happy to find the half-eaten plate of scrambled eggs shoved under the air mattress in my guest room.
No.
I laughed pretty hard at this
Just read hot water shut off in Chiefs locker room after game. Coincidence?
Bills just can’t solve the Chiefs when it counts. I was pulling for the Bills.
Hopefully, the Ravens beat the Chiefs. I don’t mind Kansas City, but I need a break from the overachieving.
I kind of want the Chiefs to win and Lions to beat them in the Bowl. I know lots of Vikes fan piss and moan that would get them their Ship before the Vikes but what a great story and to finish it with toppling Goliath.
Screw the Lions and their Shitty fan base.
I haven’t met 1 shitty Lions fan in my life. I have met shitty Packer fans, (tons), Cowpoop fans (tons), basically every team, including the Vikings, now I know there are shitty fans of every team but I am guessing there are less for the Lions. I know there has been some media on them but that’s just the media highlighting the bad stuff as always.
I’ve met shitty fans from EVERY fanbase – it starts with them being shitty people first. I don’t hate Detroit – but that may change if they win the Owl. Ultimately happy it isn’t FTP….
Those weren’t just a few fans booing Stafford, it was pretty much the whole stadium…Fuck them.
Yeah, and he didn’t trade himself. The Lions traded him and he was a class act through all of it. I hope the Niners win 40-0.
Agreed. Do you remember that game where we sacked Stafford like 10 times, and he never stopped at least trying to get their offense going?
Have much respect for Stafford, didn’t like the way he was treated by Kitties fans.
Me too, much respect for Stafford.
Fans boo the opposing players including former players of the team they are a fan of? I’m shocked I tell ya, shocked
Right? It’s part of the fun.
Oh that’s what you are upset about? Give me a break. It’s like when Jared Allen went to the Bears and reported asked if he thinks he’ll get booed. And he said, I hope so, I’d be disappointed if I didn’t, that’s how it’s supposed to be.
Vikings fan did boo him as a bear, then after he retired everyone loved him again and cheered on when he was put in the Vikings Ring of Honor, that’s pretty much how it goes. Once Stafford retires he’ll be invited back for some celebratory thing of some sort and the fans will all cheer him on.
Here’s one celebrating injuries, and the NFL chooses to promote it on their Twitter feed:
And the NFL promoted that on their official social media pages.
I could live with that scenario.
Yep, hope the Lions win the SB, would be hilarious.
I’d like that.
Iv been sick of Mahomes , Kelce and the Chiefs fanbase since 2020. F them. Go Baltimore.
If Kirk was healthy, would the Vikes be in the NFC Championship game?
Not a chance. Our defense sucks. QB pressure turns up in the playoffs. Mobile QBs have been dancing all over the place to avoid sacks.
We would have gotten smoked in the first game.
I would agree, 4th string DE and practice squad CBs were playing the last couple of weeks do to injury. I think they’d have won enough games earlier with Kirk, but the defense they were putting out there at the end would have been stomped.
Have no idea if Detroit is playing 1st or 3rd stringers, but their pass defense is trash and has been. Now we may not be able to stop them, but they can’t stop pur passing offense either.
Vikings this season did a pretty good job stopping themselves doing things like strip sacking their own QB.
Oh Mr. Ingrim – but detroits defense is still trash.
Its not great, but they are in the NFCCG while the Vikings are not.
Didn’t you pose the hypothetical question? Of course Lions are their and we aren’t. Wasn’t that the point
Ben Dum Dum
Correct, but you seem to imply that Detroit’s defense is so horrible they can’t stop anyone yet here they are in the NFCCG, that doesn’t really make sense to me.
I was merely countering your point about our secondary and second stringers. Detroits secondary is as bad as ours.
And all of. this is in the window of us getting to championship game (with Kirk and I’ll add JJ and Hock).
Our passing offense would light that defense up.They might do the same to us and it m might be a 40-42 game. But they ain’t that much better.
I would agree, their secondary isn’t any better than the Vikings when healthy. Biggest difference between these teams is the Lions offensive line and talent at RB, they can take control of games, especially late, whereas the Vikings can’t.
Fair enough on the running game. But i think our passing game is some better than there’s and Kirk is ‘usually’ a little less error prone than Goff. But it’s all pretty close.
Gotta remember they wouldn’t have had Hock for a playoff run either though which changes the passing game in a pretty major way.
True – but I did. note having kirk, JJ and Hock all back.
My thoughts, exactly.
Is this really true, Stafford seemed to do just fine last week and Goff looked OK yesterday too.
Shhh…that doesn’t fit the narrative…the only way you can win is with a mobile QB.
Both Purdy and Goff are Kirk speed, and one of them will be playing in the super bowl.
Stafford was about one PSI away from being concussed, plus getting his arm wrecked. Lions were hitting him hard. They are hitting everyone hard. Campbell has them playing very aggressive in the playoffs.
Just responding to your point about needing mobility in playoffs. Both Stafford and Brady won recent SB’s with limited movement. Goff is still playing now. Mobility is nice, but brain work is always king.
That’s reasonable.
Mobility is nice, Josh Allen made some big plays with legs last night but its much more important that a QB has pocket awareness and the ability to move w/in the pocket to buy time for receivers to get open.
Off course. And it’s even more important that a QB picks up the defense scheme before hand, resets the play and blocking.
And it’s just as important for a QB not to panick under pressure and still go thru his reads and get the ball to the right receiver.
It’s a multi-facit issue.
How about that long pass Diggs dropped? That would have been huge and I couldn’t help but thing, and say to my wife and kids, that JJ would have caught that pass.
That was a huge drop.
https://youtu.be/gzD4RXq2F5I
I can’t wait for him to start complaining again about the loss while taking zero accountability. He hasn’t looked right all year. He looks like he has either lost a step or is just totally disinterested.
Maybe Buffalo should trade him.
I would if I were them and his contract isn’t an anchor. They might still get decent value out of him and he seems to be on the down swing. Maximize his trade value and draft one.
3 or 4 years ago Diggs would have caught that in stride and been in the endzone.
Yep, he has definitely lost a step. He is on the way down. Did not see much of him, yesterday, no longer the focus of the passing game for the Bills.
3 grabs, 21 yds. Too bad, i has a sad.
He’s losing his hands fast.
The TD throw to Khalil Shakir was awesome – rolling left and throws a dime across his body to the front corner pylon.
Facts
The Lions fans are ass-hats…not quite to Philadelphia’s level but they are getting there…
Now, the sign in the article was just one fan’s stupidity, but in addition to that, Detroit roundly booed Stafford during that Lions game. Stafford gave everything he could to that shitty team and that shitty town…Fuck the Lions fans…I am cheering for 49ers.
Justin Jefferson calls out NFL for sharing arguably insensitive Lions fan sign (msn.com)
are the bills fans any classier? throwing snowballs at the chiefs players?
safe to say, there are gonna be a bunch of idiots in every fanbase…except the vikings of course….we are all class
Pfft, snowballs? That’s not even the worst, Bills fans throw dildos on the field.
It seemed to me the Chiefs players were egging them on a bit and having fun with it.
Quote from the article:
Can Joseph be called a dirty player? Are the Lions just playing and hitting hard, or is there more behind this?
I find it hard to root for them at the moment.
Considering who their head coach played for I am inclined to lean towards them being dirty. Especially when the head coach tries to justify it and say we teach them to do exactly what he did, keep your head up and see what you’re hitting. Even though he very clearly drops his head and aims for the knee.
Leaning this way as well, it can indeed be argued that the Lions are playing dirty.
I think its more a function of NFL rules changes. Hit a pass catcher anywhere near the head you’ll get penalized. Take out knees, no penalties. They’ve incentivized hitting low.
Ben as usual asks an interesting question. Watching the games this weekend, was thinking about it.
Answer – cope out, not sure.
But watching the Packers Saturday – was thinking we trashed them midseason without JJ. Sure, maybe Packers hadn’t found their stride yet, but after all oour early turnover s, not sure we had either at that point.
Detroit – 4 interceptions and we still damn nesr best them. No way Kirk make all those mistakes. There defense is as bad as ours, and their offense is no better.
So I don’t know it we would have gotten there, but we could have played with any of them – including the Niners.
Agree…we certainly would have been in the mix.
It was quite a dichotomy, watching the joyous elation of the Lions fans and then watching the heartbreaking collapse of the Bills fans.
Maybe one day we Vikes fans will have some elation…before I die…
That’s the dream…..
Possibly. Defense and O line are still lacking enough talent for a championship, but anything can happen I guess.
Lions and FTP and even Chicago have much better lines on both sides of the ball imo.
Team will be 6-7 wins next year looking up at better rosters in the division unless Kwesi works some magic.
I think its pretty much guaranteed they would have won at least three games and made the playoffs with Kirk, but with the inujries at DE and CB at the end of year they were not going to beat any playoff team even with Kirk.
Is everyone pulling for the Lions next weekend?
I am. I think that would be fun.
I would be fine if Detroit won, I’d be fine if SF won. I am mostly just glad FTP lost.
I reckon Packer fans are basking in the warm glow of a moral victory right now. First year with Love, and they were close to an NFC Championship appearance.
I have to admit, I am jealous. Packers are on the right track.
Their team is young and improving, where will they plateau? Who knows, but while the Vikings continue their “competitive rebuild” the Packers have turned over like 90% of their roster the last couple years and are building a good team around a really young nucleus while the Vikings continue doing the same thing and expecting different results.
Seeing how the Packers did was one of my main interests at the start of the season. Wanted to see how LaFluer would do without Rodgers. Turns out…pretty good.
There was hope for a collapse in the first half of the year, but they really turned the corner midway through the season.
