Believe it or not, the original concept of a rules-based international order or it’s actual name “Liberal International Order” favored Capitalism and security alliances, and came to the fore in the late 1940’s, heavily sponsored by the United States. However, the left today, does not want capitalism, a free market economy, or minimal Government economic influences. The original concept had lots of good things any reasonable person would support. Unfortunately, the left today wants Socialism masked as this concept. They’re doing the old bait and switch.

In Commiformia they passed an proposition that reduced penalties for some non-felonies and once it passed the Democruds Gov changed a bunch of felonies and dropped them down so that they fit into the new proposition rules.
That is part of what mob looting is caused by. Woke DAs won’t prosecute the non-felonies so eventually the police won’t respond to the shoplifting calls and they are even threatening to charge stores for calling to report it, calling them ‘nuisance calls’.
Hmmm… so now law and order is a nuisance. Can’t believe folks want to live there.
All my old neighbors all want to leave.
One said they plan to leave within a year, another said he just applied for a job in Boise and hopes to follow quickly, another has a lien from ex-wife so says he is stuck but hopes to fix it eventually and move, across the street neighbors says his wife loves the house and won’t move unless she can take it with her, he hopes to convince her but it won’t be easy.

From my review of McCarthy, I saw a LOT of good football traits. I feel like he’ll be a very good NFL QB.

Yesterday I answered the door to a very pleasant young lady. Blonde, hazel eyes, nice smile, very fit, in shorts and shirt, around early to mid 20s.
She proceeded to try to sell me ‘replacement windows’ for the house. Offered me free windows and 50% off labor so the company could ‘showcase’ their product.
Luckily The Teacher was in the ‘office’ right next to the front door and could hear the entire conversation otherwise I might be on the hook now for work we don’t need.
What can I say I am a Guy. It is no accident they sent a hot young lady door to door, they know our vulnerabilities.

Yeah, the videos are out there of him saying Biden is fine and the best person still. Hopefully the Republicans start ramping up some ads to offset the money spent by Tester already. The Shady Sheehy moniker has kind of stuck already though so I’m not that optimistic. When you’ve gov 6 and 7 year olds walking around shaking their head and saying “Shady Sheehy” you’ve got a problem because they are as smart as most of the voting base.

It’s a catchy phrase and they are trying to claim that he is going to take away access to public lands because he bought a ranch that didn’t allow hunting access and he also does not allow access (neither does Tester by the way). I know where the ranch is that Sheehy bought and have driven through it to access Forest Service land and guess what, that access is still there.
They also say he paid lobbyists to get contracts for his company while leaving out the fact that Tester has received more bribes/money from lobbyists than anybody in DC. Apparently running a business is shady, but getting bribes is not.

I figured there was some sort of local angle on it.
It’s the same playbook Tester has used every time. He comes back for a week or two and films a commercial driving around in an old pickup and says that he’s a 6th generation Montanan and harps on the other guy being a rich out of stater. Last go around it was “Maryland Matt”. It’s so stupidly obvious and predictable if the Republicans had half a brain they would get out in front of it and argue against it before they can even start but the Republicans take it for granted because it’s Montana. Tester will likely win again. As I type one of the commercials is on and says basically “Shady Sheehy is a fake cowboy and just a rich out of stater that is buying up our land and will remove protections to public land.”
Oh, I forgot. They have also attacked his military service and said he is lying about getting shot. (Sheehy was a SEAL).
There is still plenty of time.
But there is a concern that once a name has been established, it’s tough to change that narrative.
On the bright side, Biden is still saying he isn’t dropping out as of this morning.

QotD. In a couple of hours, we are going to be heading to southern Wis for my second son’s wedding celebration. They were married 2.5 years ago, but since it was the end of Covid, they just did a courthouse wedding. My DIL was finishing nursing school, so they finally have gotten around to doing the wedding celebration. My wife wants to get there early to help set up for the rehearsal. After the wedding rehearsal, we plan on hanging out with my sister, bro-in-law, nephew and niece-in-law. Probably plays some games and just chat.
Tomorrow, I think a bunch of us are going out for breakfast and then I don’t know what I’m supposed to do until the wedding. I will be officiating the ceremony at 4:30pm. It will be short and then we eat.
On the way home on Sunday, we will be stopping by to see my grandson since he won’t be able to come to the wedding.
It will be a full weekend. We probably won’t get home until late afternoon or early evening Sunday.
And if you are casing my house, be aware that someone will be around part of the time and the neighbors have guns and aren’t afraid to use them.

We had both of them play at our bar and grill in the past. Both are young country singers trying to make it, they both play in Nashville regularly.
