I don’t know why people get so upset about what coaches say to the media. He cares more about the locker room dynamic and winning football games than telling everyone every piece of info and every plan.

Lots of evidence is adding up to there being at least two, possible three shooters involved with the trump attempt, of which Crooks was one of the two. Going by bullet trajectories, where trump was looking when he got shot and where he got shot, looks like the round came from the are of the water tower, shooting over the screen. Crooks shot his that fire captain in the head, and he fired again. There was also a 3rd shot that came from the woods to the right of the water tower that was intended for the sharp shooters on the roof behind trump (the ones youve seen many pictures of) and missed and went down the back row of the right grand stand and hit several people all in a row and impacts the railing at the end of the row. There is a clear video of this.
1st I’m seeing or hearing about this.

Friends of mine were visiting this weekend, they live just across the border in Iowa, south of Rochester. Spent this past weekend in the Tobacco Roots. Where I was I think had good potential for archery elk, but pressure may be an issue. Big country with a lot of cow faced stuff. a lot of open parks. A guy could gain a few ridges via ATV trails and run the ridges or start up different draws. The trail head near Lake Louise had a lot of sign. Classic elk summer range.
Also blew my power steering pump.
Nice. We have been exploring to the east and north of there. I have 4 cameras out and have got a few elk pics. Lots of deer, a few moose as well. Cattle moved in last week though so that’s kind of a bummer. I’m tentatively planning on using the atv’s to get away from the main roads and set up a base camp and backpack a night or two here and there if necessary. So far our hiking and exploring has been in the lower country but we’ve looked at some of the higher stuff too. I just haven’t had a chance to do much hiking. I’m curious what the pressure’s going to be like in September. Bummer on the pump. My buddy bent his rim and axle on his trailer on our last trip.

Not sure. Last to drop out was LBJ but not sure he had actually started campaign yet – much shorter duration in those days.
The only “modern” person would be LBJ in 1968.
BTW, they had their convention in Chicago that year, same as this year.
