Besides taking the kiddos trick-or-treating, does anyone have any plans for Halloween. IIRC, fil used to enjoy dressing up for Halloween and going to parties and what-not.

From the Inforum, the Vikings defense has more celebrations in the arsenal, they just need to get turnovers so they can deploy them.
SI.com thinks that Dalvin Cook’s struggles show why the Vikings shouldn’t trade for a running back.
Vikings.com has your week 8 Vikings-Packers final injury report, and they share some final thoughts on the Vikings-Packers game on Sunday. For Vikings injuries, it looks like Asamoah is out, and Cleveland and Nailor are questionable. That’s about it.
From NFL.com, Brock Purdy is listed as questionable for their game against the Bengals, and Justin Fields will miss his second game with the thumb injury he sustained against the Vikings. Also, the Cardinals listed Kyler Murray as doubtful against the Ravens despite being fully healthy.

Great thing about the other night – our offense stayed on the field which allowed our defense to sit on the sidelines. A terrific combination for winning.

Purdydeveloping a early injury history. Might be a short lived dream.
I think he is competent and Shanny schemes well for what he can do.
Pretty good for a 2nd year QB but he is replaceable if needed.
Having a complete team around him works wonders, hopefully we are getting there.

Purdy cleared concussion protocol and it cleared to play tomorrow.
Wasn’t much of a concussion I guess.

Listening to a few of analysts (good and bad) talking about Vikings and most think our offense can be really good. A lot of this is based on better blocking and the play of Addison. Add JJ back to the mix, and they see it pretty special.
Me, add just an OK running to this, and we will be special.
Stopping the run is suppose to be a GB weakness.
I guess we will see tomorrow.
If they sell out to stop the passing attack the run could feast.
Our blocking was solid the other night. Still worry about our IOL against stout DT’s. Maybe we can win the weakness against weakness battle though.
Our weak running attack vs their weak running Defense.
Our strong Passing attack vs their strong Passing Defense.
Our ‘Suddenly Strong’ Defense against their weak Offense.
We exceed in total yards and passing yards. Maybe the run game is coming around.
We managed to do enough to keep them honest.
Would really like to fix the short yardage problem, especially in the Red Zone.
That and i think Flores will confuse the qb fairly well.
Allow far too much penetration in those situations.
They allow:
337.8 yds per game
194.4 passing
143.4 rushing.
We average 74.9 yards a game rushing.
143.4 would be great for us.
Not a Mattison lover, as i have stated.
He is what he is, solid but nothing special.
Effort is there but not the burst.
Cam is a good RB, maybe a better one.
If he tries and break outside play is over. Off tackle his best shot if he can find a hole.
Mattison is more of a power-type back, but his vision sucks so he’s limited.
I hope to see more of Akers. I’d like to see him getting over 50% of the carries.
Only other game in Minny i’d watch is Bungals@9ers. Not sure on Purdy, wouldn’t mind them losing again. Bears@Chargers seems a waste of time.
Detroit – LV on Monday I hope is interesting.
Could see LV dropping a deuce on National TV though.

I think the D makes it rough on Love.
He doesn’t handle pressure well and Flores Loves to bring pressure.
Loves pressure, i like it.
Feel like fair assessments to me. Now that Rodgers is gone I wonder if the Lambeau ‘mystique’ is gone regarding the refs. Rodgers got a lot of calls – as did Brady and as does Mahomes (expect that considering they’re all-world talents) Love has yet to show any of those traits outside of a seemingly strong arm and a mediocre deep ball..
Weather looks good, low 40’s, light winds. No precip that i see.
I hope that they only get the ‘normal hometown calls’.
