Exactly 7 weeks from today we get to watch the first NFL preseason game of the 2026 season. It happens to be the Panthers vs the Cardinals, and an early preseason game, so I would not call that “Must See TV”. I will still watch for a bit, since it closely resembles football. There is very little to report or even talk about regarding the Vikings at this time of year. Between now and September I am only hoping for nothing on the police blotter or hospital regarding any players.
This is Friday for a lot of people that either have government jobs or work for a company that gives you Juneteenth off work. I have neither, so will be working tomorrow like most of you.
Media Selection tell me this team wins a playoff game. This song seems appropriate.

Congrats. They have been talking about building one near here for a few years now. I have my fingers crossed.
Get you one of their Triple Meat Sandwiches, they make them fresh constantly, in fact you might have to wait a few minutes for them to catch up to the demand.

We did our Father’s Day celebration a day early. We met the in state kids in Wisconsin Dells for lunch and then went and did 18 holes of mini golf. At the course we were at, the winner received a free ice cream cone. My son won the cone and we all joined in and also got ice cream and then just relaxed and chatted for awhile. It was a good day. While I came in 4th (out of 5) in the mini golf, it was a great day hanging with the kids. And the weather was beautiful. Mid 70s and mostly sunny with a nice breeze.
Happy Father’s Day a day early to all of the dads.
The Teacher and I went out to dinner tonight for Dad’s Day. More better to avoid the crowds on the actual day. We went to a local restaurant called ‘Holy Cow’. I had a Bison Burger with Beer Battered Fries, pretty yum.

Not interested in trading JJ or dumping Wentz. I do not expect whomever the starter is at week 1 to survive the season with zero injuries. We will see 3, and maybe 4 Qbs again.

Agreed. We will see JJ either start or at some point during this season. If he is improved vs last season, and he should be, I expect he is here at least for the full rookie contract.
Nothing wrong with a young QB, who missed his first year, get more backup experience

Friday started out with a jump start and a new battery on our Ford Explorer. At least our riding mower just came back from the shop so I can mow our yard that is masquerading as a hay field.

He was recently at a fan meet and greet signing autographs last weekend in the Fargo area, I have a few friends that were there. Im sure he got paid for that and immediately spent that money on this lol.

He may still have money, but needed to file bankruptcy to have child support lowered. Speaking from experience; if you get a raise and the mother finds out, it just takes her calling the social worker. But, if you get a pay cut or switch jobs and your pay is less, it almost takes an act of congress to get child support lowered.
