Stefon Diggs is bouncing back nicely from his ACL tear, according to NBC Sports. Good for him, he’s a good dude.
The Jaguars released WR Gabe Davis after one season, from the NFL News Roundup at NFL.com. That team ALWAYS overpays for old or bad receivers, then they cut them. Been doing it for years.
The Cowboys traded for WR George Pickens, per ESPN. The Cowboys basically only gave a third round pick for him, they’re also swapping 7th round picks with the Steelers. That’ll likely work in the Cowboys favor, especially if the Steelers don’t find a quarterback prior to the season.

My wife said she was feeling under the weather today after finishing 3 hours at the gym. I told her I would make dinner. She went to sleep, and I made Manwich Sloppy Joe’s on Ballpark buns. I heated up some Bush’s baked beans, and spooned out some macaroni salad.
Delicious.
We were at Cosco yesterday and got one of their Roasted Chickens.
You can’t buy a raw chicken, fresh or frozen, for the $4.99 that they charge for a roasted one. So we often get one because its such a good deal.
Tonight is day two of roasted chicken for dinner. After day 3 we usually use the leftovers for lunches or add it in to a pasta dish.
Pretty yum regardless.
I should probably get a Costco membership. $4.99 for a roasted chicken? Yes please!
I just cancelled mine. My sister in law and I shared one and the nieces/nephews used it when needed. But The Teacher had her own and we don’t need too.
If SIL/Nieces/Nephews want to keep the other they can start paying for it. They said most of them have their own membership now and SIL says she hasn’t been in years.

Altadena had 10,000 homes burn down and LA County has approved 6 permits to rebuild. Mandy Moore said they had insurance, contractor, plans, everything and were just told that they had to resubmit everything and start the process over.

I think when Trump went there he told the Mayor she needed to immediately approve permits so people could rebuild. He told her to cut all the bureaucracy and red tape, and get the permits approved. She promised she would. She didn’t.

Not “we understand people don’t want criminal illegal aliens murdering our citizens, raping our children, and taking hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars away from us to house them and care for them, and we will end that“. Not “we understand that our college campuses are overrun by terrorist supporters, while billions of tax dollars are proved to said colleges, and we will end that“. Not “we know there are only two sexes, and men must never be allowed to compete against women in any sporting endeavor, and we will enforce that”. Not “we understand no man belongs in a women’s locker room, shower, or bathroom, and we will end that”. Not “that our safety, security, and prosperity must be achieved and sustained now and forever, and we will do that”.

I have a very long, good friend who is a Dem and he’ll die that way. He is an extreme academic, with 3 Bachelor Degrees, two Masters, and a Doctorate. We’ve known each other for about 45 years. We started off sharing very similar political views, but as I deployed to places all over the planet, and he worked his way up the chain mostly via his accomplishments in Academia, our views shifted. He got ever more liberal, and I got ever more conservative. We never lost our friendship over it though. I respected his intellect, and he respected me… for some reason.
Last week he texted me and said “My party has lost its way”. I replied “No, your party has lost its mind”. He sent back a laughing emoji and said “I cannot disagree”.
Well stated all around.
Good to keep the friendship. Hell, i’d vote for Leavitt as president before the idiots they have.
I was almost killed in a helicopter crash in Bosnia, and he flew to Landstuhl to check on me after I came out of surgery. He came into my room and said “what am I gonna do with you”? What the liberals don’t get (or maybe they do and it scares the hell out of them) is Trump is taking control of other countries economically. He is getting them all by the short hairs (even Iran) and once he’s got all their economies tied to us, he can dictate how they act towards us. Never negotiate from a position of weakness. These countries are not our friends. They will abuse us in every way, shape, and form if we let them. Trump is wreaking havoc on this status quo, to the tune of Trillions of dollars in new revenue for the country. The whole “Globalization” effort is DOA. The U.S. is returning to the top of the heap mantle, and that will get us out of this $37T debt hole the politicians put us in, AND keep our country safe and secure.

It/him/her/them replied ‘That DJTs policy make America Great Again’.
I thought it summed up the situation perfectly.
You cannot assume power in a Democracy without convincing the populace that those in power are either corrupt, inept, evil, or wrong in their policy positions and destroying the country (or all of the above). Thus the Dem’s are doing everything they can to sell all that to the voters.

The people now see they were manipulated by a lying, liberal press. They have lost their credibility, and once you lose the public trust, it’s damn hard to get it back.
Yet, just last night saw an interview where someone was talking with Biden and asked HIM to comment onTrump’s capacities to serve as President.
I was almost breathless to think a pundit would ask Biden of all people this question.
Liberals never learn. You aren’t the only one who watched that and thought “OK, you’re asking the most incapacitated President in history, about the current President’s capacities to serve…” brilliant.
It was stupidity on steroids – al least to people with half a brain.

Usually none of the vets participate in mini camps. There will be lots of young guys out there that the team has to focus on. Some guys will not move on past this first stage. Some vets might come in to be evaluated as potential additions to the team, but current team members aren’t usually in attendance. The coaching staff is focused on evaluating players, and orientation meetings.
JJ (QB) has stated that he wants to participate but was not sure if it was allowed.
Maybe since he didn’t take a regular season snap his ‘rookie season’.
Well, he is also trying to assume the leadership mantle, and thus wants to be as visible, and engaged as possible. Some folks see his attending this event as a great leadership initiative on his part. In reality there is no role in the process for him to fill here.
I would bet he will be on the premises though, for whatever reason.
I figure he needs as much practice time/reps/field time as possible.
He does, but they are evaluating new players and orienting them to the NFL. He could toss some balls, but that’s not of much real value. The media probably wants him out there and maybe the team does too though, to hype him some more.

I was all excited to watch Joe Webb go all Kapernick on the Packers in that playoff game. He did for about two seconds, too!

I recall one good drive at the beginning of the game.
Then the FTP defense adjusted or our offense did away from what was working.
i remember that game well.
i was dragged to my sister in laws bday party at acapulco restaurant and they had like one tv in the area and i was trying to watch and i was so annoyed she decided to have her bday party during the vikings playoff game (planned ahead of it but i didn’t care)
