Slow sports news. Miami and Pittsburgh made a trade that will probably help nobody except the players agents, but you never know. Randy Moss is returning to ESPN, and that is good news.

Some folks don’t understand how economically powerful The U.S. really is. This might help. These are the top ten countries by GDP:
#1 United States (U.S) – $30.51 trillion
#2 China – $19.23 trillion
#3 Germany – $4.74 trillion
#4 India – $4.19 trillion
#5 Japan – $4.19 trillion
#6 United Kingdom (U.K.) – $3.84 trillion
#7 France – $3.21 trillion
#8 Italy – $2.42 trillion
#9 Canada – $2.23 trillion
#10 Brazil – $2.13 trillion
Note that even Brazil’s economy is larger than Russia’s, which comes in at #11 and runs at $2.12 trillion. Also note that only China is remotely close to the U.S. All other countries around the world are dwarfed by China and the U.S.
Every country in the world is extremely dependent on the U.S. for trade. There simply isn’t anyone who can help them the way we can. That’s why Canada, Vietnam, etc have to play nice with us. They cannot afford to lose our business.
Canada has to ‘play nice with us’?
When do they plan to start with that??
Pretty soon. They cannot make up the money they make in trade with us by using other countries. We’re the only game in town. Their two major trade commodities are energy and cars. We don’t need either of those from them. We could sink their economy in a few weeks.
Seems like the old Feminist PM backed them into a corner.
He got his panties in a twist, got under DJTs skin, and he called them the 51st state.
So they got all riled up and the new PM can’t ‘play nice’ because he will look weak and like the ‘cuck’ that he is.
Like our Democruds, common sense cannot be applied by them.
So over 61% of Canada’s trade profits come from the U.S. The “trade war” they are conducting dropped their income over $4.65B in one month, from $43.225B to $38.574B from us.
They simply cannot afford to keep losing money at that rate.
By the way, their two biggest exports to us are energy and cars. Think we need that from them? Drill baby drill.
Well they dropped their income by little less than $5B I assume that is total not just their trade with us. They did pick up a little from other countries or it would be worse.
We could use their imports short term, until we get all those wells drilled and auto parts manufacturers up and running in the US. Long term we can replace everything we get from them.
OK, I was looking at the import numbers for Canada, not the export, duh. Here are the latest figures, Feb through April 2025:
All 69,301.5 – 67,757.8 – 60,437.0
US 55,036.2 – 50,004.8 – 42,168.4
Note since Feb, in 90 days their export profits from the U.S. dropped $12.867.8B a month. It’s dropped even lower in May and June.
AND 79% of all their export profits come from us.
Looks like they are bleeding out.
Wonder if they think there is a tourniquet to stop the bleeding or if they think Trump will cave before their economy sinks too far to fix.
Well they caved pretty immediately with their Digital Service Tax demands, so they know they have zero leverage.
Just like they caved a few months ago on the energy fees/tariffs.
But they have not done much in between ‘caves’ so that implies to me that not much headway was made in finding a fix.
Oh no, Trump set them straight.
“Rescinding the digital services tax will allow the negotiations of a new economic and security relationship with the United States to make vital progress and reinforce our work to create jobs and build prosperity for all Canadians,” Canadian Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne said in a statement Sunday night.
Champagne confirmed that negotiations between the countries will now resume, as agreed upon by Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, with a deal expected to be reached by July 21.
‘a deal expected to be reached by July 21′
I will believe it when I see it.
Trump will either get what he needs or there will be no deal.
Trump does not want to ‘break’ Canada but he won’t cave and give more that what he believes is far.
As with most of Trumps activities, it will be fun to watch.
I’d say there’s a very good chance it gets done by July 21. All the barking is over, and the big dog won.
Just heard a neat line – It took a man (the President) to say a “women” should actually be the winner in a “women’s sporting event.”
I think you and I as men of a certain age, look at the insanity of this whole Trans and gender bending situation, and think “what in the actual F–K is going on?”
I may be mistaken about this but believe I heard (somewhere) that the liberal NY times said the trans movement is an albatros around the democrats necks and it is just keeps dragging them down deeper and deeper.
It is a loser that they can’t seem to divorce themselves from.
The alphabet people are the loudest most active of the TDS sufferers.
They run the Democruds as all the others are afraid to cross them.
The fact that they are mentally ill does not change that fact at all.
The most prominent women seem late to the party saying it seems like.
A male inmate who identified as a woman has been serving time in a women’s prison for four years. In June, Christopher Scott Williams was transferred back to a men’s prison, four years after allegedly sexually assaulting his female roommate in the women’s prison.
Williams is serving a 28-year sentence for first-degree assault. His first request to transfer to a women’s prison was denied in 2019 due to his history of violence against women. His transfer was later granted in 2021, after he allegedly assaulted a corrections officer while in the men’s prison. Williams, a six-foot-four “fully intact biological male”, was then transferred to the women’s prison.
Mozzy Clark was forced to share a cell with the convicted sex offender at the Washington Corrections Center for Women.
“During the time Ms. Clark was locked in a cage with this man, he continually talked to her in a sexually explicit manner, touched his genitals luridly in front of her, threatened her with sexual violence, and when prison officials did nothing about this behavior, went on to sexually assault her multiple times,”
Terrible situation that the liberals created with their insane stance on “Trans rights”.
Ms Clark should find a first rate lawyer and sue the shit out of the state of Washington.
They should tie the scum down and give Ms Clark a dull knife to enact her revenge.
The staff probably didn’t have any choice in the matter as the policy/rules were in place and they would have been disciplined for not following them.
The Suits/Admin/Politicians who put those policies in place will probably skate by throwing the staff under the bus.
That is how the game is played folks, been there, got the t-shirt.
Yes, shit flows one way and something like this has a terrible smell to it.
Can’t blame the guy for trying and succeeding.

Idaho Four murder guilty plea live now.
Those proceedings tend to be more involved and tedious than most people know.
I had just told The Teacher that watching it was both fascinating and boring at the same time.
It’s massively procedural, and the judge has to ask the defendant the same questions over and over for each of the victims. Also has to go through every document signed by the defendant, question their legal representative, etc, etc, etc. It’s very tedious as I said.
But also fascinating to hear him answer ‘Yes’ each time he was asked if he killed one of the kids.
He plead ‘Guilty’ to each of the counts emotion-less. No emotion shown what so ever.
Their legal team always coaches them to show no emotion, no matter what, during court proceedings. That said, a lot of these guys don’t need any coaching in that department.
Correct.
Sadly correct.
I doubt that my legal team can keep me from showing emotion at a time like that, admitting to something so heinous.
Showing emotion in that instance would have zero effect on the outcome as he was pleading guilty to 4 counts of murder so that he wouldn’t get the death penalty.
I don’t get why he’s all dressed up to plead guilty.
Does he get special treats in jail because he looked sharp?
I believe it is a nod of respect for the court and everyone involved.
I get that if there is a trial going on.
This was to plead guilty.
There is no need to please anybody at that point. Nothing is changing.
The judge stated that he had a presumption of innocence and could dress how he wanted, but that is gone now and he will appear in a prison jumpsuit going forward.
Wow: NFL waterboys earn over 3 THOUSAND dollars per game, which averages out to more than $50K per season, not including tips.
Waterboys also attend practices, handle locker room prep, and travel with the team.
Pretty sweet gig if you can get it.
Wow, that’s amazing. And rubbing elbows with some pretty big celebrities.
Can you imagine coming out of high school and garnering a job like this?
Just wild. Working for 7-ish months at most, too? A lot of standing around watching football. Dream job for a youngster. Only people that probably get them are “important” people’s kids.
Coaches kids, team representative’s kids, etc. Definitely “connected”.
Can still qualify for food stamps and medicaid too.
Seems like that Gif would have been more appropriate a few days ago during Pride Month.
Hump Day?
Construction crew here all day yesterday threw me off and I forgot all about it.
All day…
More gooder Gif.
A federal judge on Tuesday blocked the Trump administration’s plan to revoke temporary legal status for over 500,000 Haitians residing in the United States.
Judge Brian M. Cogan with the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York ruled in favor of Haitian migrants who were previously granted Temporary Protected Status (TPS) under the Biden administration.
Cogan noted that while the Supreme Court ruled against nationwide injunctions, it does not apply to his ruling, which applies to the individuals affected by DHS’ change in policy.
Cogan ruled that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s plan to cut short the TPS extension from February 3, 2026, to August 3, 2025, exceeded her authority while violating the Administrative Procedure Act (APA). The APA has been instrumental in left-wing legal challenges to President Donald Trump’s policies.
The federal government designated Haiti for TPS in 2010 after a massive earthquake hit the nation, causing widespread devastation. The program allows people from other countries to reside in the United States on a temporary basis if it is dangerous for them to return to their home countries due to ongoing armed conflicts, natural disasters, or other conditions.
So it will be appealed and the process will keep moving forward.
Even if they decide that SecDef can’t make the change it just moves the deportations back until Feb.
Not ideal certainly but not the end of the world either. Woke judge doing woke stuff.
I still wonder how a judge can issues a ruling, based on no law. The State Department, under the President, has all the jurisdiction over matters like this. The judiciary can only enforce the law. They cannot legislate from the bench.
‘Distract, Delay, Deny’ is the only thing that the woke have so they will play it as often as they can.
We started talking about insurance companies again?
That tactic was adopted by insurance companies not invented by them.
We had similar tactics in the Army when REMF officers objected to what regular soldiers did to get the job done.
I’d say they perfected it.
Many people, agencies, corporations have been able to prefect it for themselves.
If Noem in her capacity doesn’t have the authority to cut short this action, who indeed has the capacity? Someone has to, circumstances change.
I agree. 2010 was a long time ago, and the effect of that earthquake has long passed.
Haha yeah, what a joke.
You know that ICE App that CNN highlighted on their programming? Well a funny thing happened–something I doubt that CNN or others anticipated after the virtual advertisement CNN did for the app: pro-ICE activists found a way to use the crowdfunding app to clear their neighborhoods and various locations elsewhere of illegal aliens: they started reporting ICE activity at the sort of places where illegal aliens like to hang out, and of course they ran away. These actions are growing and growing on the App and it’s hilarious. Nice job guys!
Sweet.
I have seen ‘work crews’ disappear when the rumor of ICE being in the area.
Calif even made it illegal to threaten people with ICE, or at least they discussed it, don’t remember if they ever made it a law/reg/statute.
Found it.
‘In California threatening to report someone’s immigration status or suspected immigration status, or that of the person’s family. It is thus punishable under the California Penal Code (Section 519), which carries a sentence of between two and four years in prison.’
Ridiculous in the extreme.
Is there any other law where you can get in trouble for reporting someone who is breaking the law?
Not even for reporting them, for ‘threatening’ to report them.
Yeah, outrageous. Free speech. I would say if you are threatening to hurt them, that is obviously different. I can’t imagine that would hold up in Supreme Court, though dumber stuff has happened.
A Mexican crew is roofing a house across the street from the hospital. Gotta admire them, they work efficiently and it’s 100 degrees outside.
And I had a Korean crew change some siding on a house. They worked really hard. Not sure nationality has much to do with hard work.
Canadians work 0.74 as hard. (It’s a currency conversion joke.)
That’s cause people who live in cold climates drink too much.
Well plaid.
Rec for you Sir.
We have a new trade deal with Vietnam. For months, ALL the experts had been saying that Trump’s tariff policies would wreck the economy and drive up prices. They used a market readjustment period—the Biden spending orgy was over—to jump for glee as the market remained volatile for a brief period in April. It’s now beyond stabilized—it’s at record highs across the board. Every day, the economists who predicted doom look stupider, and this bit of news is icing on the cake. Also, tariffs have not increased prices.
‘Experts’ strike again.
Paid mouthpieces more like.
Paid to advance a narrative.
Indeed
That’s actually giving them too much credit I think.
I do not think they know what they are doing – it’s worse than the so called ‘dismal science.’
They are simply wrong a great deal of the time.
Chalk up another win for team commonsense after 82-year-old Julie Jaman won a $65,000 settlement because she refused to be quiet about a man being in her women’s locker room and was subsequently banned from using her local YMCA pool in Washington.
YMCA virtue signaling. The facility should have called the cops and arrested the perv. But it played the ‘gender card’ and they thought it would be better optics to virtue signal.
I was really mad when I read about it. Totally despicable action by the YMCA.
“Denaturalization” has been a theme being passed around lately, for folks in our country legally, who seem to be actively working for another Government, or against the U.S. in general.
I do not think that form of punishment is available to Judges under current U.S. jurisprudence, but I’m not a lawyer.
What does “denaturalization” mean?
Taking away a naturalized citizens, citizenship.
Sounds like taking something that is natural and making it not natural.
Kind of like zombies.
I think that would be impossible unless they could prove there was material involvement in sedition which was concealed at the time of their processing for naturalization.
In other words, guys, don’t hold out hope I’ll be deported anytime soon!
Diplomatic immunity!
Diddy acquitted of 3 of the 5 charges against him. The 1st charge was for racketeering that could have resulted in him being jailed for life. The jury found him not guilty on that.
He is a despicable human being, but I always thought the racketeering charge was bogus.
Seems the ‘victims’ were getting paid and signed up for the situation.
Disgusting stuff, especially the violence but they could have walked away if they wanted to. IMHO
I agree, and that’s why I felt the racketeering charge had no legs. RICO laws are about organized crime. I didn’t see anything that even spoke to that charge. Just a lot of sordid video’s and exposing how bad a person Combs is.
I was listening to a talking head on Fox and they said the prosecution just didn’t understand the “world” that is music and hip hop and what goes on as “normal” in that space. That says a lot about a lot of the decline of everything when there is any way to normalize any of it.
There has always been ‘that world’ all the way back to The Roman/Egyptian days and beyond.
Rich and powerful know that ‘normal rules’ don’t apply to them so they do whatever they want.
Heard a good one this morning. It was on Fox but they were showing an “expert” talking on a CNN show.
This “expert” claimed alligators are tame and hardly ever go after humans. So, Alligator Alcatraz really had little to deter escapees.
Wonder if this fool has ever been to the Everglades, let alone tangled with an alligator.
That old guys brain/ego was writing checks that his body couldn’t cash.
Yep, alligator looks completely tame there to me.
It was just defending itself against that perv creeping up on him/her/it.
Looking for love in all the wrong places…
No Kink Shaming!
TDS symptom = woke logic.
Trump bad so alligators have to be good.
Alligators eat deer… they would likely take a bite out of crime.
I wouldn’t be a scared of the gators as I would the miles of swamp. I’d rather be dropped in the wilderness of the Rockies 100 times than dropped in the Everglades.
Hay, was thinking of you yesterday. Trump said he needed more states to step up and do something like Florida has done here. Said Louisiana is building one.
Was thinking maybe you all in Montana could too – Mountain Lion Alcatraz or something
The statewide AM news station I like listening to actually talked about what we would name in yesterday. I like Grizzly Gitmo, but haven’t thought about it much.
Also, there’s a camp just south of Billings in Wyoming already. Might need a little reconstruction, but it worked 80 years ago.
https://www.nps.gov/places/heart-mountain-relocation-center.htm
Grizzly GTMO has a nice ring to it.
Antelope Alcatraz?
Watched Predator the other night.
As long as that guy is not around I might survive. But yes, forest > swamp.
No doubt. The insects alone would drive you crazy.
Anyone hear from Brad? Hoping the imaging went well, and he is on the mend.
I do wonder if Mamdani will actually win the race for Mayor of New York.
Depends a lot on whether Trump deports him or not.
After two years of fighting with State Farm, they finally agreed (after arbitration) to pay for our roof. I hate all insurance companies, but State Farm is evil. Two neighbors less than 110 feet away from us both got full roof coverage from the same July 3 2023 storm and they have State Farm insurance.
I had to pay over 3k to fight to get the coverage I pay for.
Now, the work has begun on the roof. I hope I.C.E. is not around, because I am pretty sure that would halt the work immediately……I am not hearing any English spoken at all.
What’s your address? I’ll put in a tip on the ICE Locator app the lefties created.
Or SWAT him?
Very happy to hear you are getting your due. Sad that it took two years of fighting. Really sad.
It would probably shut down nearly all the construction jobs in the country.
Had the crew here yesterday all day replacing the joist from the un-connected shower drain damage. Not an illegal to be found.
Our gardener? Maybe. Says he is from San Diego, maybe from Tijuana via San Diego. Good dude, family man, does a good job so I am not asking any questions.
Seems down here, all road crew, unskilled constructions jobs, lawn services, garbage pick up etc – none can speak English,
Had a dead palm in bad yard. Hired this company to take it out. They show up and no one cold speak English. Glad everything went well.
You need to get with Rosetta Stone, and learn to speak Spanish. You’ll be surprised to listen to people speaking Spanish around you and what they are actually saying.
I’m still trying to master English. slow learner.
I really need to do that.
It was similar in SoCal.
Cheaper and often quicker and easier to get onto the job site. Quality of work might be hit and miss but often a lot less red tape from the nanny state, ie having to have an ‘arborist’ certify before you can have a tree cut down on your own property.
A lot of them are good, hardworking people. Yet, they are still being deported. I thought only the “bad ones” were going to be deported. Now it has evolved into “bad” US citizens even being threatened to be deported.
No one ever said ‘only the bad ones’.
They said the ‘worst first‘.
They also said if other illegals were there when the went to get ‘the worst’ they would be deported as well.
Eventually they plan to send them all home.
But they came in ILLEGALLY.
That’s called breaking the law.
“No one is above the law”…..remember?
Yeah, a lot of moving goalposts. “Only the worst ones” getting deported was never the plan. Maybe try to get them first, but all illegals are illegal. Some people can’t understand that. Even if they are “good people”, they broke the law. Sorry dems.
They need to come in the front door, and my tax dollars should not be used to support them. At all.
All insurance companies are lying sacks of s*** and evil in almost every way imaginable.
As of June 30, 2025, Trump has signed 166 executive orders, 44 memoranda, and 70 proclamations, in his second term, which began on January 20, 2025.
Each type of presidential document is different in authority and implementation.
Executive orders are directives the president writes to officials within the executive branch requiring them to take or stop some action related to policy or management. They are numbered, published in the Federal Register, cite the authority by which the President is making the order, and the Office of Management and Budget issues budgetary impact analyses for each order.
Presidential memoranda and notices also include instructions directed at executive officials, but they are neither numbered nor have the same publication requirements. The Office of Management and Budget is also not required to issue a budgetary impact statement on the subject of the memoranda or notices.
Proclamations are a third type of executive directive that typically relate to private individuals or ceremonial events, such as holidays and commemorations.
Trump has been busy addressing dozens of significant issues within the Government, as well as affecting our society and culture.
This is a big step towards eliminating the media’s misrepresentation of candidates to the public. Manipulating interviews to produce a more favorable effect, or a less favorable effect, is really threatening to the freedom of the press. You can’t push false narratives to the public, and then claim freedom of the press.
Very much agree with this. Yet this is exactly what the press has done for decades, if not longer.
False narrative can be tricky. One can state three very true facts – and leave out one other true fact – which can lead to a false assumption by a viewer.
Truth and complete whole truth is necessary.
Omission of key information, to suit a narrative, is a tricky one. Still, fighting back is important, and Trump is setting a tone.
I think it’s mostly active lying now. Omission and skewing viewpoints are heavily represented as well, but a lot of blatant lying taking place these days.
They would have gotten paid $30M probably if Kamala won, so it was a risk-reward situation for them. Highly likely that their scheme would have worked, if not for the too-big-to-rig turnout.
Transshipping means when China ships goods to Vietnam and then the ship it on the the USA?
Or 40% tariff on the trans people they send to the US?
Laughing…
Transhipment is the shipment of goods or containers to an intermediate destination, then to another destination. So yes, the goods coming from China to the U.S. via Vietnam will be tariffed at 40%.
Where’s SoCal – if you’re going to commit mass murder do it in Idaho.
Caught, life in prison, no possibility of parole, no retrials, no appeals, no Woke President coming in after 10-20 years to ban the death penalty. Seems fair to me.
I don’t like the fact that evidently he doesn’t have to explain what, how, or why when he pleads guilty as is required in many other states. Part of the deal?
One family is very upset, one has stated they dislike the deal, one openly supports it and one has not said anything publicly but reports say that they are ok with it.
Just kiddin you some.
Oh I got that.
Just one family is very upset and that is driving the narrative.
I have heard national reports slamming the deal because of no death penalty/revenge/justice. As someone who is anti death penalty I would still enjoy see the piece of crap facing the firing squad.
Yup, he deserves nothing but death.
Death comes to all of us.
Is that true? The 5th amendment cannot be invoked if you plead guilty? I’ve never heard of a murderer having to give a full confession even if they plead guilty, how exactly do they extract legitimate information from the defendant?
A condition of the deal – he doesn’t like it, take the gas chamber route.
They set up the firing squad for that guy.
In some places in order to plead guilty you have to give all of the details of the crime. We had that in Calif, not sure if the entire state had it or just Kern County.
I can see a situation where the defendant would just make up a cock and bull story. Hopefully I’m never in a situation where I hope to get some closure by hearing the tale a murderer tells.
Since the plea deal in this care included no appeals of the sentence or guilt or any other aspect of the plea the judge had to make sure all grounds were eliminated.
He asked if SOB if he was impaired by drugs or alcohol, got good advice from his lawyers, understood what he was agreeing to, what the ramifications of the plea were, and if he was actually guilty of the crime, plus many others.
But they did not ask him for the how and why of the crime.
USAID is dead (thank you DOGE and Marco Rubio).
Alligator Alcatraz is open (thank you Gov DeSantis).
The Big Beautiful Bill just passed the Senate (whew).
UPenn is now issuing personal apologies for letting Lia Thomas compete against women (about time!).
All of this happened yesterday.
Trump continues to straighten this country out. Thank you Mr. President!
He’s now pushing for a ceasefire in Gaza… if that happens, he will be having another amazing week.
I heard last nigh that they have agreed to a 60 day ceasefire.
Hey Bow, I think that was Israel that agreed. I don’t think Hamas has agreed yet, but I could be wrong.
Not sure. I just thought I heard that on the news I had on in the background while working on some other things.
I think Trump told Hamas to take the deal, or else more people are going to die. We’ll see if they heed his warning. Iran didn’t and they got pummeled.
And you forgot to mention I’m down here in SoFl and went over to see Donald at Alligator Alcatraz but he had already left.
Marco is truly a stud Sec of State.
You’re a good man JR. Red blooded American, through and through.
Good morning, and FTP. Hump day for those still working. 20 days to training camp, and 2 days to the 4th of July!
