OK, Rickie Fowler tees off at 8:29 EDT tomorrow morning at the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities, in Blaine, MN. He finished high enough in the standings at the British Open to garner enough FedEx points to get inside the top 70. So now he needs to have another great week and put some more space between him and that top 70 cut line. There’s just one more tournament left before the FedEx Cup playoff tournaments, so it’s down to the wire now. I don’t think Rickie is in the field for that last tournament, so it’s a “right here, right now” moment for him.

Yet polls show that under 50% of people think the economy is good. Makes you wonder who is getting polled. Weird to me, that anyone with half a brain can’t see reality.
Most polls are rigged, they poll who they want, craft the questions to get the response that they want and get big money for coming up with the results the sponsor paid for.

Yes, but I’ve looked at many different polls, and they’re all pretty much in agreement. Rasmussen, Quinnipiac, Real Clear, etc and they’re all close.

Yeah, I don’t know what the prosecutor was thinking taking the plea. They had Kohberger dead to rights. Certainly would have got the guilty verdict and death penalty.
It takes 12 jurors to all agree to the death penalty.
So one anti death person would keep him from that. So the statement that the death penalty was ‘certain’ is false.
Plus even with a trial they would not have gotten a motive. The Killer is not required to testify. There might have lots of speculation on ‘why’ but they would not have more accurate then they are currently.
I just had a coffee meeting with a sixteen year old girl who wanted to learn more about writing. She was nice. Polite. Bubbly. Did not make me hate teens. So that’s a win.

Just an FYI in case you were unaware, anyone who is placed on the PUP to begin camp is restricted from playing in the first four games of the season. Thus teams have to weigh whether they want to go that route with a player. Sometimes not going on the PUP list doesn’t mean a player is improving or healthy. It just means the team thinks they can make it back before week 5.
OK, I just read an article that seems to counter my commentary. The Giants have a guy on the PUP the coach said he hopes will be ready for week 1. Hmmm… that isn’t how I understood the rule. Looks like I’m wrong.
False. Players are currently on the “active/PUP” list and simply cannot practice. If after training camp completes the team decides to keep them on “PUP”, they move to the “reserve/PUP” and are ineligible for the first four games.

I don’t really understand the purpose of the training camp PUP list since the players still count against the roster. It just means they aren’t allowed to practice. I think there may be something with that they can’t go on the reserve/PUP for the season if they aren’t on the active/PUP in training camp so then the teams only option would be to use IR which has limits on player return.

PUP does, at least in training camp. I think the only benefit is being able to put them on PUP to start the season and then you don’t have to follow the IR rules.
