The injuries are concerning heading into Sunday Night. I guess we find out early this season how the depth on this roster has improved. The Eric Wilson signing could be huge. I am worried about the cornerbacks and also the O Line. Skule was schooled too often. Still, another national spotlight prime time game. JJ was built for these vs, well, you know.
Still salty about the Thursday Night game. The Packers looked really good. Paint it from any angle, they still defeated two playoff teams from last season, and the games were never in doubt. Still predicting 10 wins for the good guys, and a wildcard spot.
It is not cold enough yet for chili, so I am deciding what to cook for the game tomorrow. Maybe chicken wings….

Guess a flyover tonight from Mn Air Force. Not sure what that is or if fans can see.
Had a cool flyover with a Chinook & 2 Blackhawks at the Twins game.
Daniel Jones has 236 yards passing on 19 attempts in the first half, 13 completions. That’s impressive.
Eagles Chiefs isn’t pretty but boy is it physical. You play these teams you better bring your big boy pants. Even Mahomes is running over defenders.
Definitely a tough game JR. Mahomes has 60 yards rushing in the first half. I think he’ll need to replicate that in the second half, because the Eagles defense is taking away his receivers, and their rush is getting to him.
BTW, he has 51 yards passing.

Turf Toe?
Not sure. Turf toe is an injury in your big toe joint when ligaments, tendons and soft tissues in the joint stretch or tear. As far as I know, turf toe and a sprained toe, are the same thing, but I’m not a doc. Usually 3 to 6 week injury.

We’re lucky we have good coaching. The Giants could have the best players and lose because their coaching is so bad. Play calling was terrible in OT and the defense in the secondary was like 30 yards off the LOC.

I agree. I think at the end, Wilson got full of himself. He was gonna be the football hero he hasn’t been in years. He fumbled the ball out of bounds for a loss of 7 yards on one drive, then chucks a ball to nobody and the safety is just standing there catching the ball.

Actually surprised spread isn’t larger. If you get about 3 for being home we are a hell of a lot better than half a point over the Falcons.
That’s my take.
One needs a good roster to win in the NFL. After that i worry about injuries then officiating, in that order. One game and we can’t get regulars on the field. Always something……….

my condolences
When I was stationed at Ft Hood there were some female soldiers that were going to a ‘traditional, ‘old school’, protestant church’. They were very controlling, how they dressed, who the saw, what they did in their spare time.
I remember one was ‘assigned’ a husband, when she refused her house was robbed and she was hit in a ‘hit and run’ accident. The church members told her ‘see when you go against the church bad things happen’. She went back and married the guy. Seemed very sketchy to me at the time but no proof and she was scared, wouldn’t listen to advice.

We see lots of lows nowadays but scamming soldiers and their families is pretty close to pond scum low.
Near all military bases you have lots of young people with money. Any time you have a bunch of young people with money it is going to attract people who are going to try to separate those young people from their money.

Our first two games have both been at the end of the day games. First we had to wait till Monday, the last game of the week, to see them. Now we have to wait till the last game of the day, today.
Next week we finally get them at the regular time, and the following two weeks they’re overseas and we get them at 9:30 a.m. Eastern. Crazy way to start the season.
At least they are getting lots and lots of TV air time.
For those who think that that is a good thing.
