Media types are saying the Vikings have a difficult schedule, and with an unproven QB they are likely to win less than 14 games this season. While that may be true, I think the team has a much better chance at winning a playoff game (or 3) with the upgrades on the interior lines on both sides of the ball. Clickbait is still prevalent, I guess.
I was supposed to golf this morning, but it is 40 degrees and still misting. I cancelled. Not paying to be miserable. That is like going to a Vikings game and watching the QB play worse than you thought was possible. Even after paying to see Ponder play the position (2018 vs Bears and Bills. Ugh)

FJB has been a POS for his entire career of 50 years.
Most things that happen to him I think ‘serves him right’.
Not sure that this is what he deserves.
Perhaps I lived in DC too long but this is a bit strange. Was just reading last week his staff was going to put him in a wheelchair for second term as his spine was deteriorating and he couldn’t take even one more fall. Would think given that and the WH provides a personal President physician, he would be getting regular blood and bone tests and this would have been noticeable before much earlier.
The Teacher thought they must have known about it for awhile.
I think maybe months. Not sure how long the cancer would have been detectable. Seems like if it spread to the bones it had to have been at least months.
Hard to believe they knew nothing until now.

There is road construction in a town near us. While the official detours take the unknowing miles out of the way, us locals know some shortcuts. As I traveled a shortcut that I not been on for years, I noticed a sign. The sign says, Slow Blind Child Area. I am incensed! The poor child is already blind and now the city is publicly humiliating the child by telling everyone that they are slow also. You would think people wouldn’t be so insensitive.
But it is not as if the child can read the sign.
I doubt that it is in braille as well.

It is cool and wet here this morning. A few days ago I had the a/c on, I may have to turn the heat back on sometime today. The month of May is kind of like a woman, irrational.

I liked the British Supreme Courts definition, very brief and to the point.

Developed a fondness of playing golf in adverse weather. Living in greater DC area courses were always crowded and slow to play, Except in bad weather when no one wanted to play.
Played on many days as Surly describes and was only one on the course and could play a round in two hours which I loved. Get a cart, dress appropriately, and keep moving quickly.
And an added benefit, believe I actually became a better golfer from playing in bad conditions.
I agree with the pundits, the Vikings will not win 14 games this year.
