Vikings @ Packers Discussion
It’s game day! The Vikings travel east to Mayberry Green Bay to take on their hated division rivals, the Packers. Kickoff is at noon, and I’ll be watching whilst out fishing on the lake. It’s the last nice day we’re going to have up here until next spring, so we’re going to enjoy this last day of open water fishing this season. Gotta love that NFL+ subscription, we can watch from the boat.
It’s a huge game in a tough environment for the Vikings in terms of salvaging this season, a loss today would not be good for the Vikings’ playoff chances. Let’s hope they come out firing on all 8 cylinders, because they’re gonna need it.

I’ve looked at it a few times. I don’t see any contact with the centers feet. No idea what he did to fall down there.

I’ll have to wait till the all 22 comes out, to look at what went wrong today. Really the GB offense was just OK, with Love throwing for just 139 yards and no TD’s. Our offense was tepid to say the least.
Losing sucks – period!
What the hell is wrong with this team?
Literally everything.
Starting with drafting the wrong QB last year.
McCarthy definitely needs more reps, and development, and time. Unfortunately.
He has to play QB differently than he ever has (according to him) and that’s just gonna take awhile.
Got to be more than the QB. Hell, Mullens could run this offense and put up 300 yards. Few INT’s, but it was a pretty potent offense.
Something else is gloing on.
I am leaning toward Head Coach.
Not calling plays to help a young QB develop.
Getting cute when solid plays would do.
Lack discipline allowing penalties to flourish.
Keeping a Special Teams Coach around when he is failing.
I am sure there are more out there.
Not 100% KOCs fault but his is easily the largest slice of the ‘Blame Pie’.
It all went bad.
FTP won, we lost.
Bores won, Loins won.
Give up hope for this year and try to find solace in any progression and better draft choices. Don’t try for better draft picks but accept the ‘silver lining’.
Tough year. Keep fighting for a winning record. We can still go 10-7.
Felt bad for McCarthy. One interception was just unlucky, getting his arm hit while making the throw, the other was just a big overthrow on a hero ball. Too bad. Tough game.
JJ (QB) piece of the ‘Blame Pie’ is smaller than KOCs.
Game plan was shit, execution was poor.
Defense had its lapses but was dealt a rough hand with no offensive production to speak of.

Steelers within 3 of the Bears 28-31with 6 minutes left. Bears with the ball.

Well, not a good game for us. Jefferson with 4 catches on 6 targets for 48 yards.
Glad that is over, I can go on with my day now.
