This is a big game for the Vikings, and it is a game that they SHOULD win. I sure hope so, because I hate the *aints. I’m hoping to see Kirk pull out of his usual September funk and go into cyber-Kirk mode, as he normally does in October and November. If he can perform well, I don’t see any way the Saints pull this off, regardless of the defense’s performance (within reason, of course). With all of the Vikings’ playmakers in the lineup, with the possible exception of Za’Darius Smith, they should be poised to head back to the states with a W on the board. However, if there’s one thing we’ve learned as Vikings fans, nothing is guaranteed, so let’s hope they’re ready to destroy the *aints. SKOL!!!!! Oh, and FTS.

I’m more optimistic. This team looks like crap and is 3-1. It’s still going to take a few more games for the offense. You can’t expect a new coach to be that good out of the gate.

I agree I mean you have to do something right to be 3-1 but what worries me is the defense. There is a scheme issue every week it seems. Two weeks ago soft shell coverage, this week can’t stop the run at all.

He’s playing too far off the line under this defense to get to the QB… and they aren’t seeming to want him to get there.
They are not fun to watch at all on defense. You just pray for a drop or mistake by the opponent, it seems like that’s the only way we can get a stop.
