Like you pick out your groceries online and a store employee goes and grabs them for you, and you show up and they bring the groceries out to the car. Apparently you can even have contactless delivery where they put them in your trunk and take your payment without even having to roll down your window. Dafuq? Why is this still a thing? Hee hee my wife is virtually trapped in the shouse. She sent me a pic of a snake and asked what it was (common garter snake). She took the pic and ran inside. She said “I can’t go out there…it went up on the patio.” She just texted me she is driving in with the doggo so we can walk at 11 (in 15 minutes) and said she will have the dog leashed when she takes him outside to get in the pickup and be ever vigilant about the snake being around the pickup.

Yup, when my wife brings the groceries in the door I have her set them in the middle of the shop floor. I then require her to undergo a rigorous cleansing ceremony and sleep in a tent for seven days before I have her take a covid test and do a full physical exam. Meanwhile I don a biohazard suit with triple gloves and SCBA, separate each of the items by at least six inches, and douse them with a solution of 5% bleach, lysol, and chlorhexidine. After giving them ample time to dry (five days) the groceries are safe to handle. Does make apples taste a bit off, though.

Of course he only has 59 attempts in those 7 non-starts, and one of those games is literally just a game winning kneel-down to run out the clock.
Seems a little disingenuous to elevate Cousins over Rodgers because Favre existed.

Cousins threw for 30,891 yards and 209 TD’s in his first 115 starts so at least his stats are accurate in this commentary. No idea about Rodgers.
I see you saw my findings. but yeah, the Cousins line is actually 30,141/203 because of his 4 non-starts.
Hmmm…. I took the data from statmuse for his 120 starts and subtracted his last 5 game stats to come up with his first 115 games.
I’m including weeks 5 and 14 of 2012 and weeks 8 and 14 of 2013 (non-starts) along with his next 111 games (all starts) to get his first 115 games.

For the record the definition of garbage time is: “In sports, garbage time is the period toward the end of a timed sports competition that has become a blowout when the outcome of the game has effectively already been decided, and the coaches of one or both teams will decide to replace their best players with substitutes”.

Just provide every game in Cousins career that he has been in this situation and used it to pad his stats. Here’s a hint, you ain’t gonna find many.
I’d argue that there is some garbage before halftime, too. Lots of harmless interceptions happen as the last play before halftime, for example.
footballoutsiders does a good job of assigning game-context value to individual plays, and also things like removing drops from QBs’ incompletions and removing inaccurate passes from WRs’ targets, etc.
Let me see if I can find an article about garbage stats from them.
