They say that you learn more from your mistakes than you do from your successes. If that’s so, the Vikings should learn a lot from Monday.
They have a lot of problems to work out on offense and on defense. The coverage was horrendous on Monday, just one week after they played very well against a much better Packer offense. Receivers had room to roam, I saw very few contested catches, it seemed like they were running free all night. It almost reminded me of those really bad Vikings passing defenses in the early 2010s. I hope we don’t see that again, because it wasn’t fun to watch. They did tighten up a bit in the second half, not allowing any more points, but the first half was hideous.
Next up, the Lions. The Lions are a better team than they’ve been in quite a while. The Vikings are going to have their work cut out for them, so let’s hope they’re up to the task. The Vikings are home, so it’s a perfect opportunity for a comeback win, but it will be a battle.

Just found out they are opening a lactation lounge next to the doctor’s lounge. Apparently some of the physicians did not feel comfortable pumping breast milk in the regular lounge where pretty much anything goes, want their own space to do their thing in private. Apparently I’m not allowed to go in there unless I am breastfeeding.

I didn’t have them this week, I had the Rams last week, did pretty good, 16.50 points. I have the Saints this week. The defense is something you pass around like a 3 dollar hooker, I just pick up one each week based on the upcoming opponent.
Saints are playing Carolina this week, so I expect that the defense will do well. Rims did well against the Fulcons until the end, but they still fared okay because of interceptions.
Oh, shows what I know about ff. I thought one had the same defense all season.
You can, but it’s kinda foolish. Just go to the free agency list & find a defense that’s going to be playing a crappy offense. A top week by a defense will get you points maybe in the 20s, so it isn’t overly important. Most weeks, the defense will score fewer than 10.
That’s a pretty good understanding of FF for somebody who has supposedly never played.
It isn’t hard to watch which positions score each week & which ones don’t. I basically rank them in order of importance, kicker & defense are really low in that ranking.

On a blog all the participants contribute, along w/many who don’t and just lurk. Lurkers could be compared to movie goers.
