Yep, it will help some with mileage in town (hearing 23+) as it will run on all electric at low speeds I guess. I didn’t get it for that reason though, 570lb of torque, fast. 0 to 60 in 5.4 seconds. The higher package only gave me heated seats and not much else I wanted.

I got a call on a CT abd/pel I read for LLQ pain in a teenager. Exam was fairly normal except for some free fluid in rectovesical pouch. Next day pt went to St. Elsewhere and was diagnosed clinically and by scrotal u/s with torsion. Had an orchiectomy unfortunately. The reason for the call was whether I had missed the torsion. Well calling torsion on a CT would be quite the accomplishment unless the testicle was really swollen…plus half the scans of abd/pel don’t have twig and berries included…but as this pt had small hydroceles they thought I should have mentioned torsion. I told them if I suggested torsion on the 50% of patients that have hydroceles they’d be doing a lot of unnecessary ultrasounds…plus when did testicular pain become such a difficult diagnosis…tell me doctor I hope you did a genital exam because I don’t see one on the h&p?

We also have a 2021 F150 so debated tossing the 2011 but the stealership convince me to shell out the $2200 for a new rear diff and new front brakes installed. I’m sorta glad we did because my wife uses the ’11 as her daily driver and I use it for the boat ramp.
I’ve pondered waiting until mid next year but of course this year I’m moving all three of my kids into either new apartments or college dorms. Hatchback’s not gonna move a lot of stuff, and they’re all in different states, not across town.

Reports for the last several years have been an estimated 7 trillion dollar remodel of the existing power grid to get enough power for just 3 cars per block in urban suburban areas. This does not include any rural areas. Gas is $6.29 a gallon here. Diesel is worse.

My point was that you’re not going to be able to replace fossil fuel generated electricity easily. Most folks don’t want nuclear reactors anywhere near them, and some want them outlawed.

The less o have to pack up and bring to goodwill the better.
We hauled at least 12 pickup loads to Goodwill or MRM. Felt good to donate it. I salute ppb for hosting a garage sale…I did it once and never again!
Agreed. When my wife and I first cohabitated, we hauled a couple pickup loads over to donate. My wife keeps a LOT of things that she doesn’t need to.
I’m pleased to say my wife has come around to the notion of the new shop. Was not an easy sell back in February and I heard a lot of “you weren’t going to let it go so I finally gave in, your wants are never ending” after the fact. Just last night she said “I will say you were right for wanting the shop built as it will be nice to get some of these cars and stuff out of the shop (our 40×40 shop in the 40×60 shouse) and storage containers”.
One of the 40′ shipping containers is pretty full with all of the residual furniture etc we kept. I can gingerly climb over furniture to get to some things but basically I can’t start emptying it until I have a place to put my workbench tools etc…
Back in February committing to the build was a bit of a leap of faith, but as far as I can see building costs will not go down any time soon. Housing is booming in the Montana cities.
Basically I am on the hook for the site prep (bought and paid for), concrete and rebar (bought and paid for), the overhead door (on order), and the building itself including labor, with the latter ~120 after adding on thermotape, catch basin and a few other niceties. I will have MDU put in a second gas meter and then do the wiring and mounting of heaters myself.
Basically when you are going to transition from a 5500 sqft home to a 8×40 shipping container you downsize a lot. I highly recommend it.

Great song, great album. I grew up on top 40, country and classical and still listen to most genres, but the first time I heard heavy metal, something clicked in my brain. That stuff was my jam. Eventually, I settled on Megadeth as “my” band. Not sure why. They are just in tune with my biorhythms, I guess.
Fun concert. I had never heard In Flames and Trivium before, but they had some songs I liked, despite the fact I don’t like growling/screaming vocals. Lamb of God also played and they are 100 percent screaming/growling. Not my cup of tea, but they put on great live show.

If people have a chance to see “their” band, they should definitely consider the VIP package. I’m not going to say they aren’t stealing your money — because they are — but for me, it was worth it. The music has been a soundtrack to my life at various points. For $363, I got to have Dave Mustaine speak to me and see the rest of the band in person. I got a swag bag with some stuff in it, a T-shirt, special seating, an autographed set list and a group photo with the band (photo was bad, though).
Heck, T-shirts are like $40 by themselves at a concert.
Loved every minute of it, and I am practically agoraphobic! I hope I can do it again before Mustaine retires.
