Alright, I’m finally able to get to a PC, posting stories from a phone isn’t optimal. Hey, some news out of training camp, the most significant of which is Kirk Cousins going home with an illness with an unknown status for Sunday. It’s a preseason game, so it doesn’t really matter, as he wasn’t going to see a ton of action anyway, but this made me realize how key Cousins’ status is for the Vikings success this season. If this was a regular season game, I’d give us a 5% chance of beating anyone with Mond, and a 0% chance of winning with Mannion. Like someone said yesterday, this would be a good time for Kirk to come down with Covid, because then it shouldn’t happen during the regular season. We really need a better option at QB2.

It’s going to be hard enough to try to dig our way out of this mess, but two more years of this, yikes. Wish I was more confident a GOP congress after November would step up. The America First candidates are doing well, but I fear not enough of them yet to outvote the RINO’s.
Until McConnell is gone, nothing will change. He’ll still block things in the Senate just like he helped do when Ryan the Weasel blocked MAGA in the House.

34 but that includes long term incumbents, many of whom will be re-elected. I think it’s about a half dozen with no incumbent running. I think we will be able to defeat at least some of the Democrat incumbents too.

Rich Baris is still mainly polling primaries right now, but he does a generic national poll which is basically are you more inclined to vote R or D in federal Senate/House elections. That one has been consistently R plus 4.
You have to look at these state by state though, he’ll start doing that after Labor Day. I’ve seen some state by state projections by other conservatives, but can’t recall the details right now. It’s a little early.

86 is solid…I hope I shoot that tomorrow but 89 is my best on the course I play and I’ve been unable to finish a round there the last two times, once checking out and not putting the last 5 holes and walking off the course last week after 4 holes. I’ll finish tomorrow regardless have low expectations am just going to play and enjoy it.

Last year was Wilson’s ONLY year with a sub .500 record. Since 2012, he’s led his team to a record above .500 every year except last year.
Can’t expect Kirk to have won 13 last year with our defense. Some prior years when we DID have a top-tier defense, and he still played like dogshit at times and didn’t get his team over the hump, those years ARE on him to some extent. I don’t lay it all on him, but you can’t point to stats as the only metric and ignore the fact that he couldn’t surpass mediocrity in years when he had a hell of a group around him. 2018 is one of those years.
