Merry Monday, everyone!
Good game yesterday on some fronts, mediocre and lower elsewhere. I didn’t see any position group without bright spots, and I think Mond made a solid case for the QB2 position. I would have liked to see more from our defense, and our tight ends didn’t flash a lot, but didn’t look horrible, either. I summarize in a post (linked below). The final score of preseason games is mostly meaningless, but the games are good for evaluating talent and deciding camp battles.

Here is 80% of Ingram’s snaps at RG (67). He did well you can see he is not a easy out for DT’s. Maybe DT’s with extensive technique and power on an elite level will give him issues like Donald but he was solid.
We shall see if Ingram is indeed “the answer” to the right guard issue. Hopefully so. The line is relatively young, and could be our starters for 5 years. Bradbury needs to be replaced in my opinion but if four of the linemen are solid, obviously we have a chance to be one of the better offenses in the league. Our skill position players are top shelf. If the line steps up (if) we could be a scoring machine.

The Army certainly knows that Ft Hood has serious issues. The investigation reports I have read have many theories. No answers. It’s a huge heavy armor training base. Lots of young soldiers. I got the Oilers (this was in the dynasty years) and would play max forecheck and dick all for defense. Was hilarious as Gretzky had a “goalie rating” for every roll of two die except like 3 or 12. Paper hockey league the Oilers only lost one game and won many 20-3 or 20-4.

No, seems back to normal as of a couple minutes ago…
Witnessed the resilience of youth firsthand Tuesday evening. We were going to stay in our RV in a surface lot in the hospital corridor in Billings, went for a walk after supper. About 50 yards from the intersection of N 30th St and 11th Ave N (which ironically is an intersection I crossed approximately 7,000 times commuting to work and always thought if I’m going to die it’ll be at this intersection) hear a honk followed by a really loud bang and see smoke going everywhere. Turns out a F-250 got t-boned trying to cross N 30th, hit on the passenger side by a SUV going south on N 30th. The F-250 got the bad end of the deal, front axle sheared off and the passenger door stove in, although the SUV was going to need some major front end work for the crumpled hood, etc…
I run up while waiting for 911 to answer, is everyone OK? I was completely ignored as young people piled out of both vehicles, airbag smoke pouring out. Bunch of scrapes and bruises but they were more concerned with updating their status on their phones. 911 operator asks me if they need ambulance, I figured none of them would transport but said sure. Ended up with two FD, two ambulance, and three police cars, but in the meantime we continued our walk up to MSU-B and back.
Hardly any streets left in the USA where you can cross on foot without running the risk of having all your organs T-boned.
Too many dumb drivers, drivers texting, drunk, silly, foolish, and desensitized by airbags so that they don’t fear accidents.
It was a pretty loud bang…even though the speed limit is 25 for all the traffic coming down N 30th I bet the average is 35 and at that time of the evening possibly faster yet. I was surprised, to be honest, that no one was significantly hurt.
Everywhere I go these days the state of Minnesota is apparently wealthy enough to put in a roundabout.
Lots of people literally hate those things, but the junior junior state hacks they send out to get comments from local residents always say that there are more accidents with them, but they’re less severe than at a stop light or stop signs.
That’s certainly true in Billings, which is festooned with traffic circles, especially on the west end. The stretch where the accident happened is bad because traffic coming from the north is going downhill and has a long straight sight line ahead, both of which factor into excess speeds and driver inattention to crossing traffic.
I don’t even want to respond to the picture below as it makes my eyes bleed. However, I’m sure it is some human rights issue that women should have armpit hair, so we should all be re-programed to believe that it is attractive and if we don’t comply we will be branded as evil people.
I don’t think it’s a big deal. Individual choice issue I guess. Big thing is just be nice to each other.

About the time she came out I was up on the lift dripping with sweat with this wire hooked up Clark Griswold style and she gave me the stern voice like WTF are you doing? So once again the missus was right. Ordered some on Mammazon.
The good news is I don’t have the feeder panel hooked up (the electrician will be out in approximately 2032 with his trencher to run line from the meter to the shop) so there is no risk of electrocuting myself.

No, my barber of like 4 years (great dude and barber) passed away like a year ago very suddenly and I’ve been kinda shopping around since then, recently frequented a great clips because I had to get a cut in 24 hours for a work function of my wife’s. I am my kids barber though, well hairdresser of sorts anyway since she’s never had a haircut. I have mastered the art of the pony tail, still very much a work in progress on the braiding though.

As long as we foster and facilitate equal opportunity to the greatest extent possible then we should be good. As you said people have different talents, aptitudes, and even desires. Some people like what they do regardless of their “capacity”.
