Half-way through this work week, on our way to the Independence Day weekend? Anyone have special plans for the weekend? We’re planning to light off fireworks out at my brother’s ranch on Friday, I’ve been stocking up for that. It seems we spend a little bit more every year, but what the hell? Kiddo loves it, I love it, and when you think about it, I used to blow a couple hundred in the bar every night, so what’s wrong with spending a few hundred on some fireworks? Saturday morning, we’re leaving electricity and running water behind and heading out to the wilds of Montana, to the White Sulphur area. We’ll spend a few days there relaxing, fishing, 4-wheeling, & whatever else we get a wild hair to do. Most likely, I’ll spend 90% of the time fishing, lots of Kokanee salmon & trout in the lake there.
