It’s game day! Yes, after a long vacation for last week’s Vikings bye week, we’re finally back in action as the Detroit Lions come to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Vikings. This is an important game on many fronts, the Vikings are playing their toughest division rival and probably their stiffest competitor for the conference title. It’s early in the season, but this is already a big game. If the Vikings keep playing how they’ve been playing (with the exception of how they’ve played with a big lead), then they’ll have a very good chance of coming out of this with a W. SKOL!!!!!!!!!!

That three-and-out sucked, then the prevent defense that allowed the Lions to march into FG range sucked even more.
Little surprised by the soft defense at the end… not what you’d expect from Flores…
Two point conversion, that play call was not a good idea. But to then get the ball back thanks to the defense and then not being able to produce a couple first downs to bring this thing home… yeah, that’s how you lose in the end.
This one is mostly on the offense, IMHO. Of course the prevent defense did what it usually does, it helped to prevent us from winning.
Well… it was a heck of a game…
I wonder how we can break out of our offensive gutlessness. We are BRUTAL when we need something. A first down to keep draining clock? Nah. 2 point conversation? Throw it into the ground… no push up front. We have been gutless for years and continue to be.
The defense on the other hand, definition of guts.
