Only thing to consider about keeping Darnold – what happens to the D if Flores gets lured away?
We’ve had a few games this year where our D had to win the game. If Flores leaves and our defense devolves under a new DC, do we still win those close games?
Pat Jones update per KOC, said right knee injury and he is ‘expected’ to be a little bit of time’. No clarification if he was talking days or longer.
Aaron Jones received a thigh contusion and so was held out late in game, they will have to see how significant that injury is.
Thought the Skins had it wrapped up, but no… Falcons fight back and score a TD to tie it up. 1:19 left in the game though, so plenty of time to get into field goal range and put it away.

Well I became a Redskins fan in 1960 when we moved to Northern Virginia from Belleville, Il. I was 5.

Laughing… honestly, the Redskins have been so bad for so long, I mostly just focus on the Vikings, and sort of follow the Redskins in the background.
They seem to have gotten a good QB in the draft.

There’s really no decision. We need to resign Darnold for what we can get him. JJ may end up being better, but that’s an unknown right now. The bird in the hand…..

I’m not great at math. Not sure what would be a favorable decision money wise, but we have a good thing in him.
I don’t know what makes more sense – doing contracts a few years at a time, or locking him up for a decade. Depends on the wording I guess.
We’ve been wanting a “Franchise QB” – well, looks like we finally have one. He’s played at this level all season – no reason to still think it could be a fluke. AND next year he would start off with a year of experience in the system.

Yup, we are not putting teams away when we have the chance. We were firmly in control of this game, than again we start to get cute and let the opponent almost steal one… not good.
Defense backs off, start playing a lot of soft zone coverage. Basically, they stop doing what got them there, results in near disaster.
