Welcome Skoloholics!! It’s Saturday, so that means…..it’s NFL game day? That’s right, the Vikings will play the first of two consecutive Saturday games today, as they take on the Indianapolis Colts at U.S. Bank Stadium, kickoff is at noon. On paper, the Vikings SHOULD win this game, but as we Vikings fans know, that means very little with this team. I don’t expect a blowout, but hopefully they will surprise us and give us a nice easy game to cheer for and watch.

The Vikings’ main weakness on defense is pass coverage, and Indianapolis and Matt Ryan are NOT a great passing threat. That being said, watch the Vikings defense allow Ryan to throw for 400. The Colts have a strong rushing attack with Jonathan Taylor, so the Vikings rush defense will have to be ready. The Colts also have a pretty good defensive line, so the Vikings O-line will need to be up to the task in order to protect Cousins and allow Cook and Mattison room to run.
