Played golf this morning, and had a weird thing happen on the first hole. Hit my drive down the right side with a draw pretty decent. Had about 160 left into a breeze, and hit a seven wood very well I thought, but high. Figured it would be maybe front edge or just short. We never found the ball. Just disappeared.
Done once or twice, you know it hit fairway but no can find.

If it was wet, it could have plugged.
It was a little wet, but I wouldn’t have expected it to plug so deep I couldn’t see it. Anything is possible though. I hit the ball high, but I just know it went straight. I hit it it solid. I dropped a ball about 30 yards short of the green, and hit a wedge to four feet, and saved bogey, but it was a strange occurrence.
