The troubled reciever who has had numerous run-ins with the law over the years, and has burned every bridge he could find during his NFL career, is at it again. According to PFT, the police are at Brown’s home to arrest him for a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. However, at this point, the former wide receiver has chosen to refuse to come out.
We’ll keep you updated as the situation progresses. Sheesh.
UPDATE:
Wow, so this just keeps getting more and more weird. Now Brown has threatened that he will shoot the mother of his child ‘in front of police’. Here’s the report from MSN.
Here’s an updated piece from MSN that provides a little more background.
Antonio Brown Arrest Warrant: What’s Known About Charge Ex-NFL Star Faces (msn.com)
It’s bizarre, and very sad. MT is obviously way more qualified than me on the med stuff, but I remember when Brown was young in the league, and never had any issues in Pittsburg. Then he had that huge hit to the head (Cincinnati, I believe? Burfict?) And if I’m not mistaken had a concussion. He left Pitt not long after and basically has been derailed and acting really strangely since then. Possibly mental issues related to brain damage? I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt, otherwise he’s just an asshole. Sad regardless.
Another update with some more background. He threw a shoe at his fiancee, which struck her ponytail. That’s what prompted the arrest warrant for misdemeanor domestic violence. When police showed up, he refused to answer the door. They don’t know for sure whether he’s in the house, and they aren’t going to risk officer safety over a misdemeanor warrant, which is understandable. He’ll run out of food eventually.

struck her pony tail… This sounds like an SNL skit ffs.
Reminds me of the old Eddie Murphy bit.
What if he orders grub hub?
He’ll be in there forever
This doesn’t sound good
Drugs and mental illness is not good.
Drugs and mental illness plus a TON of $$$ is not good.
Yep, the trifecta.
