Today is my Friday, as I took tomorrow off so that I could hang out with kiddo since school is out for some reason. We get Veteran’s Day off already, so now I have a four-day weekend. It should be fun, I’m guessing we’ll be snowed in, for the most part. We’re supposed to get around 18 inches of snow, starting tonight and continuing through tomorrow night. Throw in some 25-35 mph winds, and this should be FUN!

How to get others to vote the way you would like.
Option 1: Go on rants and insult everyone. Invalidate any feels or insecurities they may have about an issue, tell them they’re idiots and then brag about yourself.
Option 2: Listen to them. Figure out what they want, and see how if your polices could align with what their interests. Find common ground, and highlight those issues.
Or just go grab ballots from people who are on drugs, or in nursing homes, or students who vote in multiple places, etc…

I have a great day ahead of me. I’m gonna play around on Skoloholics for a while, then I’m gonna go home around noon so that I can finish mowing the yard. Then, kiddo gets out of school at 3:00 and our 4-day weekend begins! Blizzard is setting in tonight, gonna get 16 inches of snow & 50 mph wind gusts. This is gonna be a blast.

I coach baseball and I help coach soccer, so I get to spend a lot of time with him doing that stuff. Also, he’s interested in scouts, so I’ll likely help with that, I was in Eagle scouts & all that.
Yes you will have a busy and fulfilling next 10 years…I coached baseball through his 12th year. It was a blast.
My kids and I (when they were around that age and younger) would play a couple of games indoors when winter came and it got dark outside. We had a set of whiffle ball putting clubs and golf balls. If you cut the center out of those small paper plates and flip it upside down, they make a good hole for indoor mini golf. Set up a nine hole course in the house using both upstairs and downstairs.
Another game was monster hunter. When it got dark, my kids would get their nerf guns (with velcro darts) or laser guns and put on their headlamps (red or blue light only otherwise it would be too bright). I would put on the nerf vest or laser receiver vest and hide from them. They would search the house looking to shoot shoot me. I could see them, but they couldn’t see me unless they cornered me or I ran across their light.
When the kids were little we played soccer in the basement. Until I broke a light fixture. Good job dad. That put a damper on the basement soccer.
One year when spring was really late, I threw batting practice to my son (about 8 years old) in the garage with a wiffle ball that I thought wouldn’t do any damage. We broke a garage window…the wife was not impressed.
I try to keep this in my head when it snows…

I was talking to former US rep Porter the other day. He said of polls, “to put it simply, people lie”, same thing happened in 2016 when Hillary had what was considered an insurmountable lead.

On a different note, I made bacon wrapped chicken tenderloins last night. Yum.
Oh, that sounds yummy. The bacon really seals in the moisture.
It really did. I baked it at 400 for 25 minutes, and then decided to go for another 5 minutes. I was worried it would dry out, but like you said, the bacon really sealed in the moisture.
I wrap poultry in bacon oftentimes on the smoker, really helps to hold in the moisture. Also, wrap it in foil after the first hour or so, that helps, too.
I wrap bacon in bacon, and serve it with a side of bacon.

So I just bought 6 pounds of yesterday. One of my favorite things to do this time of year is do beef in a slow cooker with potatoes and carrots. You can turn all the fat drippings into gravy then pour it over mashed potatoes. I think I need to loosen my belt just thinking about it.

Yesterday I put some chicken in a crock pot with broth and spices, then added beans, cream cheese and green salsa and served it with chips. It was very easy, and pretty good.

Absolutely. We all know Monothiesm and Polythiesm but Henothiesm lies in the middle. It’s the belief in many gods but the worship of 1. It’s why some believe that the Jews considered themselves the “chosen people” because the god of Abraham Yahweh was a god amongst many gods but the Jews chose Yahweh and Yahweh in turn chose and favored them. There are lots of references in the texts themselves that support this evolution from Polythiestic roots of the going to Henothiesm and then over the years becoming the one and only true god.
