We’re only a few days away from a huge matchup against the Packers. This game will be vital to any remaining shot the Vikings have at the one seed, which is a Lloyd Christmas chance at best anyway, and could be vital to the 2 seed as well. It’s also nice to knock a hated division rival on their home turf. It isn’t often you head into Lambeau feeling confident, and I wouldn’t say that’s the case now, but it’s more confident than I’ve felt in a few years heading over there. I say the Vikings win a close one, maybe 28-24 or something like that. Dalvin could have a big day, as could JJ or any of the other play makers. I expect to see the Packers try to run a lot, which could obviously vary pending Watson’s status.

Oh my, been busy all day, had to get some groceries for sis and take her to Dr. We did have a nice dinner after. Come home, poor son in law is still here (he just left, it’s 10 PM here). Kirk won the Bart Starr Award, which is given to the greatest QB in the known universe. Finally, this should end all debate: Cousins = GOAT.

Christmas update: Got a bunch of nice house stuff, which is good because I really have to stop spending money after 2 of my hard drives failed within a week.
Beer update: Overcarbonated the keg and ended up with endless foam and a soaked floor (put your keg in a bucket when letting off carbonation)
Home update: Bad realtor got unanimously voted guilty (or whatever they call it) by a panel of senior real estate agents and a couple real estate lawyers who were on said panel for his hearing (but you didn’t hear that from me because the results are secret and I didn’t hear from anyone). My realtor thinks I should include him and his brokerage on my small court case, since I haven’t gotten a hearing date yet I have to see if that’s an option.

Ok Asswipe. 2 spinning platters, one almost 4 years old and used everyday the other was just a backup drive but maybe 10 years old. Should have expected it, to be honest. Got an external SSD for backups and a 4TB NVMe M.2 SSD that connects right into the PCIe lanes on the mobo, fast as can be.
Yeah, I thought about using the same priming sugar in the keg as with bottling, but force carbonation sounded easiest (lolnope) since I’d be using CO2 to dispense the beer anyway. I then immediately bought a carb stone – little sieve holes for micro CO2 bubbles for faster diffusion/dissolving. Have learned a lot through failure so far.
And yes. He sucks and deserves this.

HDDs yes, SSDs not so much… But I figure they last longer and are faster so why not? And at least Microcenter had some good deals.
My home computer is a SP3…I don’t think they have hard drives? Same with my apple tablets? Maybe my XBox One has a hard drive…I think it does.
I shudder to think what the zoom zoom hard drives on my workstations cost, but that’s my employer’s problem, not mine.
I had to look up “SP3” – sounds like one of those teeny tiny tower “mini PCs” for offices. I think it has to have a hard drive to work, but maybe it’s all integrated.
Can’t imagine your workstations would need super fast data storage, but I guess I wouldn’t put it past ’em either.

That is funny. I had a sorta high end Kohler dual flush with a fancy non flapper style valve that failed on me once, then I didn’t tighten the new tank valve down enough after replacing it, leaked into the subfloor and I had to redo the ceiling drywall underneath. Meanwhile we have an el cheapo model in the shouse currently with old tech hasn’t given me a lick of problems.
Makes me concerned with my Toto super toilet that we’ll hopefully get installed this year.
Nothing is the quality it used to be. I bought a new fridge that never did work right. Repair guys specifically for this brand couldn’t fix it.

Both our strategies work. Takes a little luck though. You lost alot of guys early, while my team was healthy all year. Then I lose my top WR and RB late in season. Happens. If I had those two guys, I’d be in.

No heart attack. Good. Sounds like more of a life style thing, which applies to most everyone.
