Vikings are relatively healthy going into Tennessee Sunday to play the Titans (I miss the Oilers). Vikings are favored by 6 points, and while that normally spells DOOM for this team, I think they get a win here.

The Falcons defense is complete trash. At the same time, Bengals aren’t world beaters either. Sort of toss up, but slight edge to Nix.
I’d go Herbert. Bengals have a good offense and weak defense. Could be a shootout.

Chargers play Har-ball. And that creates bigger PA & big-play opportunities. Less passing volume in that offense overall but enough shot-play chances with both McConkey and Johnston playing well.
Falcons formidable in the secondary but can’t get home on 3rd down and can’t stop the run. I think Nix has pedestrian numbers in this one. Justin Simmons playing against his old team – thinking he’ll be ball hawking.

Listened to much of it. He actually made an honest appraisal of the state of the democrats and their craziness.
Got to love it when the left eats their own.
I’m a big fan of Maher – he’s not afraid to call out the lunacy of the far far left whilst being a liberal himself. Feels very common sense to me – I think he and I have a lot of common ground on how we see the country.
His also seems to be the only show that will foster actual debate instead of refereeing a pissing contest….

My wife and I used to watch SNL occasionally. But we eventually lost interest. I don’t remember when, but it was probably after the Will Ferrell, Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Phil Hartman era.

Lazy weekend of watching food cook, watching football, and doing less stupid things than normal.
Yesterday I did a pork loin roast in the crock pot. Today I’m thinking of doing burgers on the grill. I don’t know that I’ve every grilled in November.
I’ve grilled in November, December, January, February and every other month, standing in the garage with the grill just outside in rain or snow, in pitch black darkness, you name it. No, I’m not a masochist, but my wife is kinda a sadist, actually she doesn’t know what to cook so she just gets some brats or burgers ready so I have no choice.
I cook outside year round, and the smokers and grills and griddle are on the patio or deck uncovered. Rain/snow sucks so I only use the kamado when that is happening since that minimizes the time spent outdoors.
if it is just cold, I can still use the griddle or grill.
All the cooking things handle the cold better than I do.
I am still very lazy, so I am cooking Beef, Chicken, and bratwurst today and will freeze a lot of it. Should be two weeks worth of meat. I will not be using the smoker again until Thanksgiving day.
We got a new gas grill when we moved to Idaho. They don’t use gas stoves/ovens here so if the power goes out no way to cook.
It is right outside on the patio and the ‘side grill’ is within reach of the door in case we have to use it took cook in a snowstorm.
Normally, I would have already put the grill up in the shed, but since it has been so nice weather wise, I still have it down by the garage. I might as well take advantage of it.
We had a carport when stationed at Ft Lewis Wash, I could grill and be covered from the rain at least. And there was always rain there.
We are going out for Tex Mex…..
