I’m sitting here watching Aaron Rodgers and the Jets (you can sing that to the tune of Benny and the Jets if you want) roll over the Patriots on both sides of the ball. This has been a very lop-sided game. Rodgers is mobile and sharp tonight, and he’s completing quite a few to our old pal Tyler Conklin.

Vikings vs. Texans

I think we’re going to have a good game to watch on Sunday. I expect both teams to play well, and I expect it to be a pretty close game where turnovers will be important. If Darnold continues to play how he’s played so far this year, the Vikings offense is formidable, and Flores has the defense playing at a ferocious level. The Vikings are a tough team to beat.

The Texans are also a tough team to beat. Stroud is looking sharp so far in his young career, and their defense is stout. They even somehow managed to stifle Caleb Williams and that potent Bears offense. Kidding aside, their defense blitzes a lot and Darnold will have to be ready to adapt & overcome. Aaron Jones and Chandler will have to pitch in to help quell the blitz, and the screen game could be a big part of the offense.

My guess is the Vikings get the win at home, final score 24-13.

Here’s a cool article over at the Texsns’ team site, looking at the Vikings from their perspective. Pretty good read.

MSN reports that the Vikings hosted LB Kwon Alexander for a workout and may sign him. This would be a nice pickup by the Vikings. Alexander has had horrific luck with injuries through his career, but his ability has never been a question, he was a beast in San Francisco. These are the types of players that KAM likes to swing on, with varying degrees of success. I hope they can sign him, they could use depth at LB.
