Sheriff department with remote sites in 3 different offices in smaller towns in the county submits a ticket, can no longer access court software on these PCs when it had been working for, oh i dont know, every day going back 3-4 years. No changes made on the PC. I call the state and submit a ticket on this, they move it to their networking team, they claim its not on them, its on CIJIS (Software/Database) side so they move it to them. CIJIS calls me saying, its not on them and all of their servers/data bases are working fine, we agree its a state network issue, ticket gets moved back to networking team, they NOW verify that they DID make network changes over the weekend, and adjusted firewall rules and wanted me to test, which I do. Everything’s working again. Thats the power of your local and sate Governments at work folks. Turn a 5 minute problem into a 3 day one.

I remember back in the day that I was excited to turn the pre-game stuff on 3 hours before game time. Now I just watch the game. I also remember being excited for the commercials. Now I am not.
Same, but the pre-game tv was just an excuse to start drinking at noon for a 5:30 kickoff. Now if I tried that I would be passed out/asleep long before kickoff.
I can’t watch any pre-game stuff these days. It’s way overblown. I usually don’t even turn a game on until five minutes after the start time. All I usually miss is a meaningless kick-off.
