Hey, it’s the weekend! Thank God, because it’s been a LONG week, I’m ready for a break. I was gonna put Christmas lights up today, but I stopped by the shop last night to grab a tub or two of lights, and I fell off a ladder and might’ve broken my foot or ankle or something. I’m holding out hope that it’s a sprain, but I may end up going in today. Yuck.

I like Kirk Cousins the man. Good dude. Down to earth. Despite his lack of grilling skills I think he’s a top notch guy. The kind you want your daughter to be married to and your kids to be coached by. I’d bet he’s a good neighbor and teammate.
But today I want to destroy Kirk Cousins. I want to see him under duress and frazzled all game. Doc just called, the x ray guy looked at the images & there is a possible fracture. Here’s what he said:
“AP view of the foot demonstrates a possible cortical avulsion fracture fragment arising from the lateral aspect of the anterior calcaneal process.”
So cast needed to be on the safe side?
No cast thankfully. 4-6 weeks & I’ll be good as new.
Still driving a stick with a broken foot won’t be fun.
Maybe rent an automatic for a bit?
My pickup is an automatic. I can drive that if necessary.
It will probably have more room under the dash that you might need for the wrapped ankle/foot.

As DE Viking mentioned yesterday, I think it is questionable whether or not Boise St deserves a Bye in the College Playoff or not.
But they do deserve to be in them and they are with their win last night over UNLV. Army over Tulane was a highlight as well.

It is my right, I drove from my shop to my house right after I did it.
I built this one. We have a loft in the shop, I built a ladder to go up it. That’s what I fell off of, trying to climb down with a tote full of Christmas Lights. Landed & my ankle bent a direction it’s not supposed to bend.

I decorate a platform shelf. Leave it up all year. Just change AA batteries once a year.

X-rays showed nothing broken, likely just a severe sprain. Doesn’t pay to do MRI until the swelling goes down.

That’s the problem. You used a ladder without an ANSI certification.
We should probably regulate ladders. People should have to have a license and go through a training class to operate them. They injure more people than guns do.
