Man, what a game that was! A victory is always enjoyable, but a victory against the Packers is light years better. Watching Rodgers and the Packers get frustrated and rattled was extremely satisfying. It was also really cool to see Coach O’Connell get his first victory, and I’m happy that he got it yesterday against our most bitter rival. I have a feeling that Coach O’Connell will settle into a nice, long career in Minnesota. I sure hope so, anyway. I like how the team looked yesterday.
It was a great game all-around for the Vikings, as they looked good in nearly every facet of the game. The offense did well against a very tough Green Bay defense, and the defense held one of the league’s best offenses to only 7 points. Add in solid special teams play, and there is not much for Vikings fans to complain about in reference to yesterday’s game. Wright punted the ball well, and Joseph was perfect on field goals and extra points. Enjoy this one, Skoloholics, because if you can’t enjoy a victory against the Packers, then I’m not sure what you can enjoy. SKOL!!!!!!!!

The current system seems to be more friendly toward O-linemen as well. They aren’t being asked to hold blocks for 3 seconds, like they were in previous years. It’s hard to fathom how many sacks we took because the play took so long to develop. I thought it was a Cousins thing, maybe it was the system?
Play design and play calling make a huge difference. Granted not many receivers are as talented as JJ, but look what a difference putting him in motion and moving him all over the field made. He was a superstar yesterday!
