Thinking about how the Vikings might be successful this year. The play of the front seven will be key. If the pair along the edge, Danielle Hunter and Za’Darius Smith can remain healthy, (and let’s face it, that’s a big if) one could reasonable expect them to be among the league’s preeminent pass rushing duos. Their ability to create problems on passing downs makes the entire defense considerably better. The other components of the front seven – the interior DL and middle linebackers – will also need to be very good though. If successful, that defense will be much better than last season’s, giving this team a chance to go far. I think in the end, the defense is the whole ball of wax here.

The outside linebacker part stands out. I’m not sure the whole operation works without standup rushers who are blazing quick off the edge creating havoc. It takes dynamic safeties who are good at disguising coverage and closing the gap quickly when they have to play in the run game from two deep. Back in the day, it used to be all about that big nose tackle in the middle playing over the center like Ted Washington or Casey Hampton but now it’s about the number of dynamic players you can put on the field. Being able to line up Za’Darius Smith in different spots is pretty darn helpful, for example.

I think heartbeat is a popular one. I think that makes sense to me. Another is when the child is capable of living outside the womb, but that is so much later.

For a long time the Catholic church was against any contraceptive. They’ve let up on that. There was no acceptable form of stopping the sperm other than pulling out and even then some didn’t like that.

Sorry, folks. Been crazy here. Any nerdy types know why I’d suddenly have no internet? Modem & router work, devices connect to them, but there’s no internet. Been that way for 2 days now. I blame Ponder.

Define work? You can have wireless devices connected to the wireless but that doesnt mean you have access to the internet. Power cycle your equipment and see if you get network back. If not, if you have a laptop and a network cable, plug that directly into midco’s modem where your router is plugged into (if they are separate and aren’t the all in one models) that port usually says WAN on it. If you still have no network while plugged directly into the modem then its Midcos problem, modem is probably shot or they may have an outage in the area.
Okay, makes sense. I have my own modem (Motorola) & router (Netgear 1750AC). I restarted the router, but haven’t tried the modem. I’ll try it when I get home.
Sounds good! If restarting doesnt work those are always my go to steps, especially plugging directly in, because Midco will do everything they can to avoid having a tech go on site but at that point, you proved that the main line coming into your house and the first piece of equipment (theirs) is not working so they have no choice but to look at it. I had to do that for a customer of ours last month. Was on the phone with midco for 45 minutes until I did just that and the guy ended up sending a tech on site, modem was shot, replaced it, everything worked again.
Modem should be okay, under a year old.
I restarted everything, and it works now. Thanks for the advice!
