It’s the slowest time of the year for NFL news, and this year seems even slower than usual. I guess that’s a good thing, any news splash during this time of year usually involves an arrest or something similar, so I suppose we should be thankful that it’s slow. To be honest, I’m so busy doing summer things that I don’t notice how slow the NFL season is until I go to post the thread, and then during the day when I have time to comment. NFL discussion during the slow season beats work, IMO.

Greenbay has a top 3 preseason defense, we have a bottom 3 defense until proven otherwise. aRon makes his line and receivers better, being called a black Kirk Cousins is considered an insult in the nfl.

Well I certainly would enjoy watching Rodgers getting sacked. No Adams, so Vikings should be able to get a pick or two off their 2nd round rookie receiver too.
Ultimately on offense it’s going to be a lot like Rams offense so yes prepare for that scheme. We have a better running back, potentially as good of a pass catching TE but that’s an unknown, as good WR’s room. OL is a complete ? But we have good tackles and LG it’s C and RG we need to see. I’m hoping Ingram wins on of the guard spots. Vikes will have to mix it up run and pass, can’t just go bombs away against that secondary which is solid. Have to use Cook and Irv to create mismatches and draw coverages away from JJ and Adam.
Defense there is a scheme change to a 3/4 with Donetella’s system so really it’s the wildcard. I like the personnel but would like to see another run stopping DT like Suh added. Can’t just try to bury Rodgers he’ll light you up, sure you bring blitzes at times but mostly its standard pass rush to protect passing lanes and keeping an eye on A. Jones as a runner and pass catcher.

nah, I got 8oz sirloins which are as tender as filets for $35 each. That is Outback pricing now for roadkill beef. Amercian Wagyu is a cross between wagyu and angus or the like. Still highly marbled but not insane like actual Kobe and imo it is better. Kobe is too fatty and you get a richer flavor by having the angus part. They also do prime American beef, just saw they had some good stuff for $16-23 each for 6oz to 8oz.
We bought some Wagyu a few weeks ago and the butcher that sold it to us said sear it quickly which we did but it didn’t cook to our likening and wasn’t that great. It was high quality I think we Kirk Cousins’d it on the grill. I feel shame at $75 a pound.

No..the aluminum leeches in to your meat on a grill unless you do full indirect. I think we just under cooked them. Next time I’ll cook them to a solid medium. They seemed to cook slower as I like med rare but they were slow to cook.

We are in a Holiday Inn in Superior, just off the lake. It is pretty decent. Bed is maybe the most comfortable hotel bed I have every slept in.

150th Open is off and running. Up early to watch it. What a wonderful major, probably the biggest golf event in my lifetime. This is one all of them no matter their age desperately want to win.
Why is this bigger than the Masters?
Because it’s the birth place of golf, longest running Major in golf, and what is called by all the American greats, Jones, Nicklaus, Palmer, Woods as the most defining career win major course for one to solidify their career.
So they have it every year, so why is this year different?
They have it every year at a different course but this is the “home” course for The Open. Also its the 150 anniversary.

He was here as normal for a short while. I think he was moving from AZ to IA for the summer. I am honestly concerned because it’s been weeks and in 10+ years I haven’t seen that before.
