Its called shit changes. Their predictions are based on Models, multiple models from multiple countries. None are exact. They get more confident in predictions the more the models agree with each other. Weather is dynamic, shit changes. That being said, there are about two or three resources I truly value for weather and take seriously as meteorologists. None of them are on the TV. New Weatherman job is to look nice on TV.

Based on strength of schedule for passing offenses (how easy is it to pass against remaining opponent’s defenses) Vikings have the third-easiest strength of schedule remaining. Might see Kirk go for over 500 in a game yet.
I didn’t do a summary yesterday as I was busy. My 4 month old had an appointment with pediatric dermatologist as she has a small hemangioma on her lip that they are worried might get bigger and impede her ability to suckle from a bottle or her mothers breasts. Anyway we had to take her to the appt., they take her blood pressure, then she has to eat, then take a blood pressure medication, and then the part the Dr. didn’t tell us before the appt, she has to have her blood pressure taken again after a minimum of 1 hour wait after the med was taken. Spent 2+ hours at the appt that was also a 40 min drive away. Oh well though the medication is working so worth it I guess.

I think about how insane he was to leave his home country and try to master

That first successful crop was likely a seminal event. It meant that we could survive on what the prairie produced. In a few years he had a small farming operation whipped into shape, he was killing it. I am so thankful he decided to take a shot at farming in this unknown land. It has been no cakewalk through the years, but his descendants are all proud Americans and have contributed to mankind in a number of positive ways.

That usually helps, with many machines.
You probably need to adjust the carb jet, there’s a screw at the bottom of the carb that you can screw/unscrew with your fingers, just start your snowblower and play around with the that adjuster. Also, just to be safe you should check if you have spark so take the cap off the spark plug, lick your thumb and forefinger and put them on the very top of the sparkplug and pull the rope.

Likely fuel line or carb. Could be lots of bits in the gas tank plugging it up.
Another culprit is clogged air filter.
I know, I was just messing with Freezey and thought maybe he would actually try the fingers on the spark plug thing, when I was a kid I had a really cool vietnam vet neighbor who had a huge shop and stuff. I bought a Rupp minibike at a salvage yard for like $10 and he said he’d help me restore it. Said the first thing to check is if it has spark so he told me to do the finger check thing and boy did she have spark. Anyway, got it up and running and drove it for a couple years then sold it for like $100, of course he refused to let me share any profits with him.
Accidentally shocked myself when working on my old pickup in high school (had a 350), that woke me up.
Brings back memories. Had a ’74 Chevy, I used to LOVE working on that thing. Could sit up there in the motor compartment, cooler of beer sitting there & still plenty of room to work. Could change an alternator in a half hour. New plugs & wires in an hour.
On my current pickup, you need a PhD to do anything.

We are supposed to head for St Louis on Friday, but they are not recommending travel because of 20 mph wind with gusts up to 40 mph. We may have to teleport.
We planned to hit the road about 4 am on Friday (well, I plan to, we’ll see if the fam can get their butts out of bed that early). We’ll see whether the weather will cooperate. I don’t drive on dangerous roads when the fam is with me.

Try Redbreast or Teeling for much better Irish whisky and not too much more expensive. Would you rather have smoked ribs or just roasted in the oven? Of course smoked, much more flavor. I feel the same way about peated whisky. Are there some that are too over the top? Yes just like burnt to a crisp, dry ass, smoked ribs overdone. It’s about balance.

Ribs is the wrong comparison because meat is inherently savory and smoke flavoring enhances that.
I like my whisky smooth as can be and just a touch sweet, smoke is the antithesis to those.

It all depends what you want. That whisky I posted above is SMOOOTH. Like crazy smooth but still has GREAT flavor. It isn’t the antithesis, it’s just harder to do well. Most times when people tell me they want it as smooth as possible I hear, “I don’t like flavor”. Like even bourbon, I like Ryes best. I want some funk in there, give me some damn flavor. If I wanted to hide the flavor of whisky I’d use a cheap whisky and make a mix drink.

It’s not painful to drink. Have you ever had really good peated and sherried scotch? I am guessing no. Really good means very limited bottlings. I have a Laphroaig right now that isn’t very good, took a chance on it and meh, not so good. But I have in the last 2 months finished 2 bottles I’ve had for 3 years. It’s those bottles that change minds about peated scotch. Game changing. It was like when I switched from liking boxing to MMA. When I have other whiskies now I am like, something is missing lol. I can understand people who have only had the basic run of peated stuff. But until you have had those truly special peated whiskies… it’s game changing.

Was listening to an interview about with a former player and he was talking about how they would watch film and not just game film but practice film of Franco and he looked terrible in practice. Not because he wasn’t giving effort but because he was always trying new things, trying to add new wrinkles etc… in their trap running system. So in practice he didn’t look that great but it was because he wasn’t practicing for his ego but to have the most tools at his disposal and best understanding of their offensive run game system and how defenses would react to different things. Pretty cool.
Side note, I bought that pan you recommended. Just got it yesterday, haven’t gotten to use it but it looks and feels pretty damn legit. Thanks man.
